It’s been a banner week for The Old Man. Once I found Discord and the always active Feds chat, it started raining blessings. In addition to a grand tour of all the cool places, I was essentially handed the old Pony Express newspaper, and the Secretary of Media and President welcomed me aboard.

I pieced together one old format, a roundup of Government newspapers, and that’ll be a regular Tuesday edition. Then I dug up an old Pony Express format and graphics, and put together a Friday paper. They’re both off to a good start and I’m feeling the love. Very nice, that ought to keep me busy and hopefully in good trouble.

Along the way I noticed that the DoD Daily Orders hadn’t been published in over a year, and thought I might use a Pony Express interview as an excuse to ask the current Minister of Defense why, and see if we might get that paper going again.
The Old Man got some education. The war scene is so fluid that fight orders change throughout the day (and night!), and outdated orders left up at the newspaper are a detriment. It all happens in the US Shout feed, and on Discord and Telegram, and it really does change all the time.

The DoD newspaper has a long tradition of presenting more than just fight orders. The DoD newspaper can still serve a purpose. It is not obsolete. So I’m just gonna paint this fence for a while, and see if I can make the job look so attractive it’ll bring me a replacement.

Is It Congress Season Already?

I would endorse every one of these guys again.

My game plan took a sharp left turn this week, and I find my hands quite full. Enough so that I won’t be seeking a Top 5 host to run me for Congress this month. As we all know, Custer’s only got two working brain cells, and they are both smokin’ red hot from publishing four newspapers in a week. So… got my hands full, maybe next month.

No Old Fucks will be running for Congress this month, but don’t you worry– once the weather warms up we’ll all be out there. On the roads, in the parking lots.. In the shops, in line in front of you with expired coupons and exact change.. Oh, yeah, we’ll be out there once the weather breaks.
