Just got 5 gold for getting to level 6 or earned a hard worker medal? Wondering what to spend your wages on? Through this article, I shall help to inform you what I think you should be spending your money on.

Getting money

There are many ways to increase your monetary wealth. The most obvious of these is by working every day. With wages as low as they currently are, you won't be able to buy much with your daily wage. However, there are other ways to obtain currency with which to buy things.

Gold is the international currency used within the game. However, you cannot buy things directly off the market with gold. You can convert your gold to GBP via the monetary market. Head here and you can buy GBP at a rate of 33.33 GBP per 1 gold.

When you first get to level 6, you will be awarded with 5 gold. You can trade that into over 160 GBP allowing you to buy lots of stuff. You will also be awarded with 5 gold for other achievements such as working 30 consecutive days or advancing 5 strength levels. You can also invite your friends to the game and you will gain an extra 5 gold once they reach level 6.


What to spend your money on


Food and houses


The most important thing to spend your money on is maintaining your wellness. Hopefully you are currently between 90 and 100 wellness. If you aren't, read up about the British Gifting Hub here. There are two key products when it comes to maintaining your wellness: food and houses.

It is important to keep your wellness as high as possible to increase your productivity and damage so don't try to save money here. If you work in a quality 1 (Q1) company and train every day, you will need a combined food and house quality of 4 to keep you wellness at 100. This could be Q4 food and no house or Q3 food and a Q1 house etc. You should buy a house of at least Q1 straight away and combine this with Q3 food.

You can buy a Q1 house directly from the market or by registering on the eUK forums and finding offers for houses here. Buying from the forums will save you about 33-50%.

Weapons


The second most important thing to spend your money on is weapons. You should fight every day following the orders posted by the Ministry of Defence (MoD).

If you fight without weapons, you will only do around 40% of the damage you would do if you used Q1 weapons for all your fights. The more damage you do, the more useful you will be to the UK military and the sooner you will become a Field Marshal (the highest ranked soldiers in the game). You should buy 5 weapons per day from the market and then fight (5 times) following the MoD orders.

What not to spend your money on

You shouldn't buy a company, especially if you are new to the game. Now is a bad time (economically) to buy a company and it is extremely hard for new players to make any sort of profit.
