Oh, wait... This game definitely is NOT about any religion NOR brothers. And here is what I have really wanted to convey to you guys.



While chatting on one of many Russian skype channels, I once joked that most articles about EDEN and Phoenix can be summarized into 'EPIC FAIL/WIN', which joke went on and someone randomly put it in that most Serbian articles in Russia or about Russia are 'HELP/SAVE/FIGHT/DONATE/SUBSCRIBE OUR ORTHODOX BROTHERS'. This sounds ridiculous really.



First, this game is not about any religion and eRussia like its RL counterpart is multiconfessional. Damn, we used to have borges16 as a President, who is a RL Muslim after all. Secondly, we are not brothers. You may ask why? It is that way because in this game you have always been going after what is to your advantage, so have we most of the time until summer 2009 babyboom when thinking people were rooted out and replaced by the arm-wavers, who were ready to sacrifice anything in exchange for some tenuous notions of brotherly love or Phoenix friendly bonds. It went this way with the Hungarian sale of Urals back to Russia. Then, Iran and Indonesia tried to shoot their sequels of similar sale, this time with ESR and WSR. Luckily for Russia, they failed. However, upon unification, Russia lost the focusing objective for a while, which was artistically exploited by PHOENIX HQ with Serbs and Hungarians, playing the first violins.



Every time, PHOENIX had some offensive or defensive operations, the Russian treasury was considered and therefore used as the alliance's boxroom. The alliance drained it dry for its own purposes, which had zero to do with the true Russian interests in the game. The Russian military took part in most/or more properly – all actions orchestrated by the alliance, ranging from direct operations to covert ones, earning nothing. Yep, time to say it out loud. Hello Kitty or Lion King, or giving high region to Bulgaria or any other puppet or smaller nation were not A part of the Russian e-national interests. What was in them for us if every now and then there was someone from Hungary or Serbia asking the Russian president to give more money on some undertaking?



A little while ago, the then incumbent Russian president addressed the population with the statement that Serbs would like to get FER on lease and many of us questioned this offer. Why did the Serbs need FER if they lacked the ability to exploit Lion King in any efficient way? It's at that time, I reckon, Russians started to realize that they were nothing more but a mere cow the alliance decided to milk, whispering sweet words about some fictitious mutual objectives that Russia allegedly had with Serbia or Hungary.



We had and still have none. You are so afraid of losing your dear Lion King that you would do anything to protect it. Who can blame you here? National interests prevail. But please, spare us from your false sentiments about friendship between the two countries, as we understand that protection of Lion King would just waste our resources and give us nothing in return. You owe us like 5,000 golds and do not make haste in repaying this debt. We have not seen your endless troops, going willingly (in fact when it was convenient to you, your gov't did not deploy the troops to help anyone) in one wave after another, racing to liberate Russian regions. In fact, after looking what Hungarians did to Ukraine in Podolia, many Russians were appalled to see Serbia assaulting WSR, as there was a feeling that it might gonna cost us another 10,000 golds to return it like it was in Urals.

We do not need to prove you anything, we are not your brothers. It was just a good business for you. Not for us. Now that the Rising is launched and Russia was plundered by the local 'smart' boys to a point it cannot restore itself and the Russian community is wasted as well, good business seems to have come to a halt. You may start to hate Russia anytime now. No money for your adventures. You will have to earn it yourself.

What should we do, you may ask? It's simple. Get ready to be spanked by PHOENIX hard and wait for that one. They will spank you real hard, your dear friends. They will spank you like no one spanked you since the sale of Urals. It's sad but no one can change it. Wait for Serbs to ask FER for bringing Russia together and agree to any terms they ask.
