To CP or not to CP?

Day 2,412, 01:49 Published in Belgium Belgium by Director9

Out of the blue, it seems I could be a viable candidate for some inmy party to be the next CP. I must say I'm flattered, I'm not the most politically active person in eBe.

I can not say a lot of things which would support my run. The only thing I can say, I've no interest in making myself shine on the political scene at the expense of my home country. Having little experience doesn't really bother me to be honest. After all this is a game. My country first is my motto, but respectfull to all those I come in contact with.

As luck would have it, I just went on a 2-day course, to stimulate creativity, being stuck in an ordened environment (necessary for safety and health reasons) being creative isn't always an option to explore freely. It came down to 'Doing things differently' . I know that people do stick to how things have been working all along, and change is alway met with a lot of resistance. So I would do things differently, for one, I'll probably not have a formal government. This means I'll have to get advise or get someone to do a task when the need arises. Unfortunately people tend to to say : you want it differently now you do it yourself. Can't help that, it says more about them then it does about me. If I do feel the need to delegate, I'm willing to pay them a salary, people working in government positions do more work then CM and they get 5G. For 5G all they usually do is vote a law, and in most of the cases propose stupid laws.

The Pink Panther Party at the moment is holding a vote on which candidate to support. With this article I just want to make some noise about this and my candidacy.

Now for some extra information. As you all know or not know, I've been trying to get the community going again through various incentives of a financial nature, in eRep finances causes the biggest headaches for most and people remain lazy unless spurred on. I must say the first incentive did not have a lot of response actually. Only 2000cc out of a possible 6500cc was rewarded. The next incentive, again not really a major success at the moment. Maximizing profit out of Plato's pocket seemed not as important as a shiny medal, but later on when finances are on the table complaining will probably be not far away. You had your chances. Both incentives as you can see, don't really get a lot of attention, the downside of a small friendcircle 😉
These incentives will be continued as long as I can carry them, depending on my current financial balance and the weekly tournament and my status I'll calculate what I can give. It's not always a lot I admit that, and most will be based on doing some effort.

To conclude : To CP or not to CP? That's the question only you can answer.

PS again no pics, I'm an intelligent young man, an avid reader of fantasy and SF, reading stimulates the mind looking at pictures doesn't.

PPS use this article as a forum to ask me questions about any doubts, thoughts you might have
