We know French decisions have been treacherous and despicable in recent times. We, eUk, holder of superior morals and ethics, should give them another, and a hundred more, opportunities of peace and good neighbouring.

Of course, much is owed to ePoland, and we will return their friendship tenfold. But, we should advocate the "french situation" to our epolish friends. They certainly deserve a country, at least some regions. And it's far more intelligent to convince French that USA is a worse enemy than us, so they can focus all their strength into USA regions.

Generosity pays back in Diplomacy, see Irish. Without the agreement and worse relationships, they would have added up to the francogerman-canadian invasion, making things even worse for us.

Be generous, be intelligent: be British. Lend a hand to the weak and defeated.

I think France does not want to fight USA because they are stronger. France will attack weaker nations because chance of success is better (I do not blame them for that).
As long as France is stronger than UK best not to trust them because when France sees an opportunity UK will be again the weak and defeated.

We must reverse that reasoning and remove any "casus belli" of them against us. In other words, we must convince them "eUK is not the enemy".

"They deserve a country"? Were you playing when we were wiped for 4.5 months by them? The french are the most hated by most of us so we wont like peace with them unless we are getting attacked by them...

France have shown they only play for themselves, respect is due when respect is mutual. I for one hope ePoland see the sense and keep em wiped for a while, I'd even advocate the eUK fighting in RW's to keep France subdued. Maybe a spell of what we have endured will do the froggies a world of good!

well, balcanic style of game is not fun, is it ? I'm not saying I like French, I'm saying it's more clever to have French play our game, instead somebody's else.

if we can convince them that we (euk and epoland) aren't the enemy we will get on just fine but until then we will continue to keep them off the map
