Time for a BLT

In his letter, President Olv007 requested that Alliance voters allow the people living in eBelgium to be the sole deciding votes for the election.
"I would ask not to involve help from our alliance friends this time, to keep the voting fair by letting only the eBelgians vote that are actually in this country and that really care about it. No tactical voting, only vote for the person who you think will represent you the best in congress."
His comments reflect the truth that both Phoenix and EDEN forces have a sizable number of voters with Belgian citizenship standing by to influence elections.
I would like to go one step beyond what Olv007 has done. Instead of just asking for Alliance friends to stand by, I would like to call for a dialogue between representatives of both sides and begin a program that I dubbed BLT: Belgian Limitation Talks.
Similar in concept to what was done between the USA and USSR during the SALT talks regarding nuclear arms, I would like to have both sides systematically reduce their number of "tactical Belgians" Currently both sides feel they have to maintain a number of "Belgians" to balance the other.
It is time to make a change and secure the future where Belgium does not have to fear or rely on either alliance regarding its independence.

Several questions:
How will you determine who is from what country? How will you make people give up citizenship? How will you stop congressmen allowing their friends in once the other side has given up their voters? And the most important question: when will YOU go - because without your EDEN voters, your party will lose, having only 20 or so members to the BfB's 100+?

Very interesting suggestion, this is just what this country would need.
Daniecox, I think you can't stop unofficial alliance sympathizing congressmen from inviting friends and handing them out citizenships, but on the official level alliance representatives could negotiate about reducing the number of their official emissaries (members of their national army, for example, who came here on governments orders). Even this would be a great step forward for our home democracy to true souvereignity.
I endorse this idea.
What perturbs me they are the American votes (kylero mad his presentation in usa, for example). Don't forget that the humility is also important in politic (because we can't make promess if we can't realise them). You tell about the neutrality, did you acquire the spirit of the neutrality of Belgium, or you keep values from USA?
USA and Belgium is not the same. You can talk about a lot of things there (the economy is different, ressources are different).
Belgium begins only to take its flight. Don't forget it.
It's better to talk about little promess, but practicable as a big speech.

I see that the members of your party begin to arrive in Belgium and that you put many representatives for the congress.
I hope for the congress to become mainly eBelgian this time. I want my old e-nationality back. Nothing against eBelgium, but I am eGerman after all.
If the EDEN-forces cut back and let eBelgium be, I'll be out for good. That much I can tell.

i can't make publicity for another party in this post, for the respect. But you maybe reads others articles.
Rod : i have a question for you. Do you want simply continue to work in Belgium, in neutrality, or put a lot of representants of Eden in the congress? I'm maybe a woman, but i see a lot of spanish and Americans have the nationality of Belgium.
Your vote it's in the night, when we are sleeping. Do you wait this moment to say, go vote for this one or this other?
