Threat Averted, Country Saved!

A few days ago, one of the greatest ever threats to the eUK's national security almost went unnoticed. The threat of our country being PTO'ed and destroyed in the near future was prominent. There was a man who planned to take over the country and let in PTOers from around the world to enter our country, but this man first started with the plan of PTOing a top 10 party in the eUK. He planned to raise up that party, bring it into the top 5, and with the help of New Era and the Freemasons he would become CP and destroy the country from the inside.

This man was BigAnt, the 3 time previous CP of the eUK and now a number one threat to the country. Up until 4 days ago he was one of the most important members of the largest party in the eUK, he had helped lead this party into the number one spot in the eUK. His plan was simple, PTO another party in the eUK. If PTOed, he could raise its rank into the top 5 and give more New Era members Congress spots. With New Era and Freemasons in the top 5 already, they would be able to gain enough Congressmen to be able to remove the current CP from power and bring a New Era member into the CP spot. This would give New Era the power to control the country.


Let in criminals and PTOers...

Claims that highly ranked eUK citizens had targeted New Era sparked a cunning response from BigAnt. He would allow PTOers to enter the country if him or New Era gained power in the country. This would put the eUK into political crisis, and possibly result in a worse economy, no regions and useless military. To put this simply, BigAnt wanted to destroy the eUK and stop any chance of revival. Nothing like this has happened in the eUK before, and hopes are that it will never happen. But BigAnt wants it.


Bribery, one of New Era's recruitment methods and now BigAnt's way of gaining votes.

After planning on PTOing the Round Table, the eUK 9th largest party, he had to gain votes. He had two main methods of gaining votes in the upcoming PP elections, multi's and bribery. BigAnt has used both methods before in eRepublik, so had the knowledge to succeed. Multi's could be used to gain votes as well as look as if he is recruiting members to the party. Bribery would be used to gain support of members already in the party.
CheetahCurtis and Jack Dante - Saving the Day
Jack Dante was BigAnt's rival in the upcoming PP election in Round Table. Jack Dante is only a week old in eRepublik but had big plans for his future in the game. I contacted Jack Dante to say that BigAnt was planning to take over the country through evil means, so together we decided to stop him. The day before the election, I joined the Round Table to help Jack Dante. But upon joining, I noticed something suspicious... multi's! I contacted the admins, and they permanently banned half of the accounts that I reported, even though more are likely to be multi's. I am not stating names as it is not fair if any of those players are actual people and not multi's. This would help greatly in cutting down BigAnts votes.

Election day came and BigAnt was gaining votes, but Jack Dante stayed low for a while. I took it upon myself to spend hours asking people to vote for Jack Dante, both people already in the party and people out the party. It was tense and the scores were staying even throughout the day, we did not know whether Jack Dante would succeed, whether we would succeed. With 10 minutes to go and scores tied, I sent one final message to a player I didn't know, praying he would reply... He did! We had done it, sealed the final vote. This was the score was just a few seconds to go:

We have done it! The one vote at the end got us the victory. BigAnt has been defeated by someone who has played the game for one week. Honesty and truth beat bribery and multi's. Good won over evil. The eUK is safe for now, so I would like to thank all who voted for Jack Dante. But the threat to the eUK is never over, we must all be cautious of PTO threats in the eUK, for the person who vote for may not be after harmony in our lands.
