Join the new world

Well, theres been plenty going around these past few days, and Ive got a few things to say about each. There isnt too much, so bear with me and you might end up happy for having read the article
*** OLD PLAYERS: make sure you read the end 🙂 ****

1) Political parties and leaders.. Well the past few days have made for some surprising changes in the party rankings in Canada. Thanks to the incredible organisation and effort of the DAL members, they have become a force to be reckoned with on the political scene. Next, the gap between CSD and CEP has shifted, going from over 80 to just about 40 right now. Both of these big parties have not been increasing in size nearly as much as the DAL though, so in a few weeks, it will be very interesting to see exactly how the numbers play out. I suspect, however, that many political parties will be pulling for media popularity once the platforms start to come out. I know for a fact, as CEP vice president, that the DAL won't be the only one gaining so many new members over the next few weeks.

2) Dean22, Augustus Baldwin, and other things that have been blown out of proportion by the media
Ok well, weve heard it all, and for or against, I think we can all agree that this whole issue is getting out of hand. In fact, the issue has moved beyond these two, to the question of our constitution and the powers of president, congress, and supreme court. Hopefully this issue will end up being only seen as an opportunity for us to fix our laws, for example introducing more of a criminal code, as is being discussed. It is clear that both AB and Dean are masters of propoganda and media spin, and at this point its a waste of time to express ones personal opinion, as depending on who sees your comment, youre either an idiot or a genius. Hopefully we can get over this style of politics and come out stronger as a nation

3) COBRA
how could I not mention this. I think its great to have a joke party in canada like this that is decently active, unfortunately chaos wasnt. But at the same time, AB THIS HAS TO STOP you cant be stealing our nations secrets. Your games are acceptable and even enjoyable, but only to a certain point. Once you breach national security, your actions will be condemned, not only by myself, but by a united Canada.

4) Congressional elections.
I will be running for congress, and will post my candidacy article in a day or two

5) everything else
Ok well I need to congratulate a few people, just for their exceptional behaviour over the last few days.
First of all, Citizen white for his excellent interviews with Gobba Bruck, Jacobi.
jacobi, regardless of his innocence or guilt, for keeping his hands out of the dean22 case and making the politics a lot worse
Marchelala. for beating me in the CEP party president elections, he is a very deserving candidate and will do us proud.
all other ecanadian citizens, who make our nation what it is today!
(if i forgot you specifically, well, youre included in that last one 😛 )

Finally, for those experienced players waiting for the enews of a lifetime, I have been able to confirm that Latro will almost certainly be returning within a week.
For those of you who don`t know, Latro was an exceptional erepublikan and ecanadian, who helped lead the canadian government towards the end of beta, and is almost certainly the greatest minister of finance who has thusfar taken the position. so, we should all be glad at his return 🙂
