This week the MU Cordis Die started a coup to take over the country. The coup was successful, and now eCanada is under the rule of Rylde. There have been various reasons suggested as to why he couped the country, a big one being that since the speaker candidate from his party was not picked, he got mad and couped the country. In a one question interview with Rylde, I asked him why he decided to coup the country. Here was his response:


“I launched the coup for a few reasons actually. For starters we were building our party with a strong campaign of asking for accountability from all the other top 5 parties.

The CPF took this as a threat as they themselves had zero media presence and had not asked for accountability from their congress members. Their first order of business after we received more voters than they did was to unite what was left of congressmen from the other top 5 parties against us in the speaker vote.

This in itself is not a horrible act but the fact they were trying to drag my party as well as my MU through the mud for being united. You yourself know I never once gave the order who to vote for or sent additional pms as we thought it was a free election.

We were very mistaken as CPF created a Us vs Them environment where upon we were some kinda of a vile villain that were up to no good in the country by building our party and publicly shaming other inactive top parties.

It would be funny to guess how many pms they had going and how many pms were sent trying to block a perfectly fine speaker in Joseph Rich. He's not a jerk and a very respectable player who has never once done anything to warrant this kind of uniting against him. Its not like we were trying to give me the job or Rolo.

After they united the dregs of the leftover parties I thought "to hell with them". It seemed like anything we were going to do going forward would be looked at with scorn and suspicion.

I figured might as well just take them out of the Govt equation altogether if all they’re going to try and do is make you out to be a villain to the entire country. All they did was create that which they feared. It may have made them right in the end through their own actions so I wonder if it was worth it.”

Since the dictatorship, media has reached levels that haven’t been seen for months, with an estimated average of 20 - 30 comments on any articles given towards the subject. This is because of some political warfare between the parties, which will be described below.

With there being a new leader in our country, we now have a brand new cabinet to help Rylde run the country. Here are the positions currently held in cabinet, as told by Rylde:

With conflict steaming up between Rylde’s Whorehouse and the rest of the political parties, the media has been stormed with strong political views and some articles are reaching 50 or 60 comments. This Week In remains unbiased towards either side. The conflict is believed to have started a couple days before the dictatorship, with various political accusations and conspiracies coming up over the September speaker vote.

After Rylde became dictator, he was quick to action, releasing a budget for where the money will be used in the time coming. Here’s the budget:



The total expenses is equivalent to the forecasted tax revenue this month (7000 per day x 30 days). Some of these expenses are new and will have categories of their own in this article.

This week Rylde announced a new weekly contest for players to participate in. Each week Muglack, Chochi and Foxfire will review and judge each article released to pick the top 3. They will then hand out prize money for exceptional writing. 1st gets $1000, 2nd gets $600 and 3rd gets $400. This program is an attempt to revive the media and make it active again.

Along with writing contests, an old program was revived this week. The program is named the Training Grounds Upgrade Act. Many months ago this program was for loaning gold to new players who would then pay for training ground upgrades, and they had to pay it back within 30. The program is currently being revised, making the program from a loan to a funding program.

A supply program for newer players is now receiving funding from the government. The program, run by Xichael, attempts to help players by supplying them with food and weapons each day. Up until now the program ran on donations, and the funds were slowly running dry. Now each month the government funds this program with $50000.

Rylde announced his military plans for the coming weeks this week. His first statement was that we are going to keep some of UK’s regions, as they are busy dealing with Slovenia. In the meantime Canada will be having a training war with Ireland for the next week. Canada will give back all of Ireland’s regions at the end of the week. Along with those, Canada is also saving up for an Airstrike against a country yet to be determined. The airstrike is relying partially on donations from the population to support it.
