This was NOT a failure

Day 949, 07:45 Published in USA USA by S-Mac31

As me and my friends stayed up, we had it planned out that I would be able to win by one vote. Everyone waas yelling, "Its over! We won!", but when I checked the stats, all I saw in the qualified was a Fist raised and the Trick246. He had got a last minute vote to tie me, and that was that. He has far more XP than me, and my dream was over. For this month.

But there are a lot of reasons this months congress run was not a failure. The only failure was the expenses that I used up that kinda burnt a hole through my pocket. However, I had my highest amount of votes ever in a congress run with 9. For a small state like South Dakota, who'st last two winners won with scores of 1 vote and 3 votes, I think I did alright. Also, I was running against Trick246, a very strong candidate represented by the Feds. We had spoken before. He said to me, Its not about winning, its about who wins, it's about that each state gets a very strong candidate.
This country has a very strong candidate in South Dakota, Trick246

It's also nice to know that the Feds were watching me all yesterday. It kind of makes me feel accomplished that they would actually think I could put up a fight against Trick. But, there is an apology during this elections that needs to be made.

I apologize to Marxus. The party said they had me the win, but they really should have given you more support. You deserved to get in, and if asked, I would have conceded for you, because you're one of my best friends in this game. But, I should have conceded with out being asked. If I did, you would be in congress.

So, Congratulations to Trick246, for winning congress, as deserved in South Dakota. And I'm sorry Marxus, you should be in right now.

Happy for Trick246, sad for Marxus.

***EDIT: By popular (or unpopular) demand, a special thank you to Dan (THEMAN) Heylin for guiding me through the elections, and Devill for the vote!
