Join the new world

I’m going to make a serious statement this time. No lyrics, I swear.

Yes, I have been busy in real life. Yes, I’m still around. Yes, Still D.R.E is my favourite Dr. Dre song. Yes I knew about it before GTA V, and yes I was f**king giddy like a schoolgirl when I heard it the first time while rolling around in my chrome hearse, as Michael. He was the bestest character in the whole game.

So I think I’ve been touching on this for a time, and my week or so long absence from the game has been evidence enough that I’ve been going through some important changes in my life. Don’t worry, they’re good ones. In any case I’m going to be busy for the next little bit and will only be here marginally. I’m going to TRY completing Daily Orders, write an article, troll the eCanadian media; you know, what constitutes as two-clicking for me.
I will also, pending my good friend and man-crush WookyJack’s re-election as party president of the Federalists, be accepting the position of Federalist Press Media Director, mechanically the Spokesman of the party. I accept this with a heavy weight and strong feeling of honour. The Feds are an excellent party, and I am proud – and horny – to accept this post, which I feel is one of great prestige, but also responsibility. I have some free time; and I guess instead of getting drunk and singing bawdy sea shanties, I can make a positive difference to a community that has been very good to me.
By extension, I would like to congratulate Tyler Bubblar on his election to the office of CP. Not since the Sliver Queen have we had our grasp on the beating heart of politics, and already TB (on second thought that might not be a good abbreviation) has proven an excellent hire. May he continue the great legacy of Federalist presidents until the end of his term(s).

Some of you, especially sponsors, may be wondering what’s happening with the MVBML. As I stated when it started, and will reiterate here, it is an extremely casual league; and though there was a steady stream of games in the beginning, here is when the casual aspect of the league sets in. Games will continue when time allows, and I have to – at this point – re-evaluate the schedule. I’ve had more requests for teams, so I’ll have to fit them in as well. If, for WHATEVER reason, you as a sponsor wish to pull, you may. Your team will no longer be sponsored, and you will be refunded HALF your fee, so 50 cc. This is mostly a measure to incentivize people not to pull sponsors at will without penalty (i.e at or near the end of the season).

So I don’t know when the next update will be at this point, but I’ll be around scampering in the shadows…watching. Because I am the night.
