This is STILL Sweden

My last article regarding eSweden was an effort to explain the swedish mindset and values in Erepublik. I will now try to give you some examples of how we try to live up to our reputation and what my/our goals are.

1. Trustworthy
Sweden IS a trustworthy friend. Our friends will never have to doubt we will be there for them and our true friends know this.
For example we never hesitated to support Spain with voters when they were about to have their congress taken over by non-spanish citizens. The fact that they had just made 265k points against us through their MPP with Germany doesn't change the fact we support them.
Croatia got attacked by Hungary and Sweden stopped the planned attack on Germany in order to first support our friends.

2. Military power
We still are a military power and have inflicted 1,6 million points against Germany and their 6 allies in and hav eachived victory in 3 out of 5 battles. We had a lot of help from our friends but so had Germany and we take pride in having an average of twice the points per hit compared to those we face. This is how it must work since we are a nation much smaller than many others.

3. Major economic power
Through out the war against Germany we have had our production in "war-mode" and are able to build up our stocks even when we are fighting. We have also spent a minimum of GOLD and SEK on the war so far in order to have great reserves if we would need to make a bigger effort. This show how well equipped our economy is to face challenges nad it keeps getting stronger.

As an example we have a total stock of weapons about 2 x what UK have and 2,5 x if we only look at Q3+. This doesn't mean that UK have a bad productivity, rather that Sweden have a great one.

4. Forgive and forget is not our game
Well, we felt fooled by the germans twice and tried to find a solution to live in peace with them but found out that they still made plans to hurt us. We did not trust them, we do not trust them and we decided it's time for retaliation again.

I agree that this might make us seem hostile but the truth is we warned everyone of the coming attack and offered a last peacefull solution even though we knew our citizens demended war. The proposal was not even considered realistic so our president pushed the button and declared war.

The lesson from this is that we do remember our enemies as well as our friends and we do not forget.

5. Political unity
When Sweden face challenges our politicians unite! The total support for our current president showed us and the world that if we have a common goal our differencies in ideology will not stop us!

6. We play to win
Erepublik is still a game, we do not mix IRL-feelings into the game. Our common goal is to "win" and we work our way towards that goal. Question is, how do we win this game?
- By occupying every nation? No
- By beating the germans? No
- By having the biggest non-fake gold reserve? No

It's about having the nation everyone looks up to and think of as a role model for for this game. It's about attracting new players and citizens to our nation. It's about us having the best society and support for our player base.
