Third Time Truly is the Charm

It's been a long road coming but I am finally here. In the 3rd election I have been in for the presidency I have finally won. Before I start my opening article, I want to thank my competitors Treian, Bruck, Gaius Julius Caesar and steam7 for a fun and competitive election. We showed the best eCanada has to offer and we represented our country proudly and I am proud we have done so. I look forward to working with all of them in furthering our country. I also want to congratulate Woxan, our bro from the USA for being elected President as well. I look forward to working with him in these uncertain times. Co-operation with the USA will be extremely important and I will make sure our outstanding relations continue.



I also want to thank my devout supporters. The CPF, UN, Bloc Canadien, Canadian Freedom Party and the New Atlantic Reform Coalition have all put their trust and support behind my campaign and without them, I might not be here today. My utmost thanks is extended to each of these parties. And of course, a big thanks goes out to the Democratic Action League. In each of my election attempts they have stood behind my running and supported me 100% and my efforts wouldn't have been rewarded without the efforts of these fine people. You guys are my party for life and I can't imagine being in a better party. I am proud to be the first ever DAL president and while it's been a long time coming, we deserve it and the true power of our party is shown.

Today I have discovered that the life of a president isn't always glamorous. The first day is always the busiest and I have hit the challenge full on, hoping to get as much done as possible. But the one thing that has bugged me the most if the scandal with TemujinBC and the Canadian National Defence organization. For those who don't know what happened, TemujinBC is the Minister of Civil Defence, meaning he posts the daily battle orders for Canadian citizens from a newspaper in the CND organization. Today he decided to steal 4305 CAD from the organization and donate it multiple citizens. Here are the donations made:

I ask that all the recipients donate the money back ASAP. It is a hefty amount stolen and the money goes right to our CAF. TemujinBC is a friend of mine and one I considered to be one of the best eCanadians we have. However, today, I felt betrayed and disappointed. He was doing so well and being so active with the position that I just had to keep him on as MoCD. We have been talking very much the last few days and he even actively supported my campaign even when most of the CC was behind Bruck. When he did this today I was at a loss for words. This is a gross mistake by TemujinBC and while I know he loves his "lulz" this is going too far and I can't accept this. He has been removed from the position and the password of CND has been changed. A replacement will be found shortly.

War



I can already tell that the lack of war in eCanada is becoming an increasing problem in our society. I have received multiple PMs today asking for war or at least a training war so they can fight. I 100% understand their concerns and am doing all I can to get a training war organized for eCanadians to fight and level up. While the real war I am planning can't happen overnight, I ask that we all remain patient and fight in the training wars to level up. When there is one, the orders will be posted in the CND newspaper.

I will try my best to make sure there is an article out daily or semi-daily to keep eCanada informed. The first day is always a hectic one and I know I have my work cut out for me but I will do all I can to make this term a successful and prosperous one for all. This is the beginning of a new era in eCanada and I want it to be one filled with fun for our country.
