Now that I am not Country President anymore and I officialy resign and take a long break from any kind of politic activity I can write some things that were on my mind for some time. I couldnt write this before becouse I was representing my country and when you have that kind of position you some times have to watch what you can and can not say. Becouse if you say something wrong your's or your countrys reputation and even safety can be in danger. I will also write this in english so everyone who actualy read my articles will know what I am talking about.
In last month or even months things changed a LOT. ONE started loosing in every battle posible and TEDEN is on its »killing spree«. And that has a lot to do with things that I will write in this article. I could see how countrys and alliances are working becouse I was talking to other countrys representives and was in channel where ONE CP's and MoD's are gathering.
The country that made the best impresion in me is Hungary. I always admired this country but this time they showed me the meaning of true friend. When Croatia NE-ed Slovenia, Hungary didnt hesitate and NE-ed Croatia in next few hours even tho they have their big enemys Bulgaria right next to them. And in the end it did turn out that Bulgaria will join the fight. Some said that Hungary joined the war just so they would stop Croatia geting true Slovenia and get a border with Poland. If thats true or not I realy dont care becouse I will always belive that they did it to help us and for that they will always be the first on my »fight for« list.
Country that dissapoint me a lot was Serbia. Serbia always was a great friend of Slovenia and I hope they will be in the future. But how they were runing things this month made me doubt about their ability to be worlds powerfull country in the future. I know they still will be the strongest country, but they can not be world power without their allys. And if things dont change they will lose that status. Again it all started with Croatian attack on Slovenia. At the time Hungary joined the fight Serbia closed the war with Greece and it had hands free. Yes, Serbia was cut off of their resources but their allys were in big need of their help. Serbia could NE Croatia the next moment they closed war with Greece and I belive now thing would be totaly difrent. Hungary could focuse on Bulgaria, Croatia could even not reach Poland and Poland still would be a country that never was erased. But this didnt happen and Poland with Hungary were erased while Serbia went on hunt for their bonuses. But that didnt helped them much since they are losing them again…
About Poland I cant say much becouse as I see it, they mostly were only looking for themselfs and their own interests.
But the country that disapointed me the most is Turkey. After the break up of Phoenix they couldnt decide where they belong. Fist they were pro Terra or at least they were making good relationship with America. Then they saw that ONE is dominating and joined pro ONE so they could make their own empire that included parts of Russia, Ukraine, Israel, Saudi Arabia. They lost that empire for a short period of time. Then after ONE ship started sinking they said screw women and childer, Turkey first and jumped in to the life boat and paddle towards TEDEN. And so they left their old brothers Macedonia who they actualy decided to attack. Thats what I call a true backstabb.
Let me say a few words about current alliances. ONE is dieing becouse there is no real leadership. In my oppinion ONE was never ment for countrys to work together but so big powers like Serbia and Poland could take half of the world and not need to worry about fighting eachother like in old Phoenix vs. EDEN days. On the other hand EDEN have a great leadership and great strategic. Even when the ONE was dominating they didnt break up and only waited for the right time, which is now.
I personaly always was kinda against Croatia, maybe becouse I am still young and naive. But in last month I finaly saw their true faces. And that is only in good ways. When they NE us they came to ma and said that they dont wanna erase Slovenia, they just wanna get true us towards Poland. What happend next was a very nasty thing to do from my part (yes I admit). I said sure lets talk about it and wanted to see what are their plans. After we agreed that Slovenia wont slow Croatia down I backstabb them and made sure RW in Veneto will be returned to Italy and that way slowed down Croatia. But in one way my hands were also tied becouse we were just invited in to ONE and I could do such thing like letting Croatia true us without fighting back. But once I saw that ONE have no intentions of helping Slovenia we had another talk with Croatia. And even tho I screw them over they still wanted to make a deal and just like they promised they returned all our regions and never fought against us in RW's. So even if we are enmys, they got my respect.
And at last a few words about Slovenia. We are enjoying our empire for fairly ling time now. We had our ups and downs but we always managed to get our preciouse empire back. Some Slovenians say that this is killing us and people are leaving the game becouse we dont make new wars and that we are scared to make new wars. But I belive the main reason why Slovenia is holding to that empire so tight is becouse of real life. Slovenia has never been an important country in history. Actualy after the slavic tribe setled in the lands that are now part of Slovenia and formed Carantania we were under occupation from difrent nations for over an 1000 years. We were under Holy Roman Empire, under Austrians, Hungarians and in the end in Yugoslavia who was in my oppinion run by Serbia. So yes, we are holding to our empire becouse of real life »frustrations«.

Nice, but a small part is not correct.
After the break up of PHX, NWO was dominated by EDEN and Panam. That is when "big 4" started inviting more countries to their block. When Turkey started helping NWO, they had 800 mil/day advantage. When Turkey stopped helping them, TEDEN started winning more and more, and when Turkey joined us, ONE just collapsed. Why? Because they are so used to huge damage advantage that they never learned how to use tactic or strategy.
ONE still has 200 mil damage more, so with organization and tactic, they will soon be able to respond and balanced game may begin.
Ofc if multi-hunters finally clean Serbia and Poland of their multies.

Romper : the game would be balanced now if ONE would have a leadership, and countries what care. Now as they don't have any of the mentioned stuff, EDEN is rolling. ONE used to have brute force, but on the other hand it had both tactical knowledge and strategical moves. Since now they don't have a HQ - and SmoothZiga is right in this - you are asking for too much.

as i remember croats, not officially ofc but in articles concerning turks in comments and shout, were first to say they wont accept turkey into their alliance because its and i quote 'cancer of every alliance'

I do agree with you. I have been playing for some time in EDEN/PHOENIX days and I noticed that now-a-days we lack real leadership and straightforward commands.
Sadly I have forgotten my username I used back then but I was never really a big factor in any decision or battle. Recently my friend invited me so I decided to give it a shot 🙂
But like in RL I'll stay an optimist and hope for some good changes in leadership.

^ I suppose that would balance the game somewhat, unless ofc the Admin were even more ambitious and finally cleaned the whole game of multies which would leave TeEDEN woefully depleted once more.

Officer Crabtree (SmoothZiga), i know i may be a tad annoying when it comes to english but some errors you made were hurry-errors. Sit down and do a spell check and you'll be ok. The article itself is good and, as far as i see it, objective although i was against the deals under the table with Croats. Remember, most of my generation of players came into the game during or immediately after the errasal of eSlovenia, when POP-TV aired the article about the game and some of us still begrudge the hamsters their actions back then. I, for one, am hardwired not to let that grudge go easily.
