They Fear Me

Day 1,151, 22:36 Published in USA USA by SamWystan

"Greetings Fellow Libertarian SamWystan

I write to you today not out of desperation as some might think but rather out of concern for our great nation. You see, a fellow party member and friend has decided to run against me. This is normally not an issue and, in fact, as Libertarians, is encouraged (albeit with a forewarning so that a delicious debate could be planned and hosted). Unlike past party president elections, however, my opponent has decided to leave eRepublik.

Sam Wystan is one I considered a friend both in-game and on IRC. His newspaper delighted many of us and on a personal note, he was one who could hold his own in our trivia channel; for that I applaud him.

Regrettably, his departure is a problem. If he were to win the PP Election as an inactive, it would severely weaken our party and could potentially harm our nation. The PP must select official Congress candidates on the 24th of the month. Otherwise, enemies of the eUS can get on the ballot which could prove disastrous if they are elected (usually fraudulently) to a seat in Congress.

This is why I must ask for your vote, not for myself, but for eUS security for our party cannot go inactive! I have, with the help of my staff and party friends, taken a decrepit party of ~180 members and, during the last two months of my administration, molded it into the formidable entity of 400+ members.

Be proud of this-your Libertarian Party-for when you vote for me, you are voting for the security of the eUS and for all the freedoms and luxuries we enjoy!

To reiterate for you TL😉Rers, Sam Wystan has chosen to leave eRepublik so I request your vote.

Perhaps next month the Party President Election will find itself with a host of worthy PP hopefuls and I can participate in debate with them for all the party to see so that they may choose their ideal candidate!

Cordially,
Iasov
Current Libertarian Party President"

They fear the game as much as they fear me. How sad and foolish must they be to send this to me as well? Those who have most to lose within the Libertarians are afraid of me. Afraid of the possibilities that might arrive should I be elected. I may have wronged Claire and CRoy and Iasov, but they know better than to tell the Libertarians lies. Iasov has never been my friend. At best, he has been a person I hardly knew.

The Libertarians are a "formidable" entity of Claire Littleton, CRoy, and Iasov. Without them, the party has no one. Because they care about no one but themselves.

Should I win, I will turn politics and parties upside down. I will eliminate needless paperwork, needless work, needless tedium.

Saddest of all, they cannot even spell my name right. I have no space between "Sam" and "Wystan". I'll win or I'll leave. But if you enjoy good games, you know who to vote for. Me.

Vote For SamWystan, And Vote For Freedom.
