These Congressional Elections
These elections were very fun, very exciting. There's a few things I need to explain through here. I won yesterday in the state of Wisconsin running under the Libertarian Party. This was made possible because of a few things.

I'm going to go back to a few days before the election. I had originally signed up to run under the Federalist Party. Two days before the election they told me my state. I had received Arizona. I decided to scout my competition. When I checked the USWP proposed members I saw that Scrabman was running in Arizona. After ranting a bit on IRC I knew I had to do something. It would be extremely difficult to win.

What did I do? I sent messages to Cleveland Fleman and Jamarcus. Jamarcus let me choose whatever state I wanted that was still available. In order to get the easiest state I checked almost all of them. Wisconsin had little competition, so I took it.

At this point I had no time to campaign, something that hurt my party as a whole. I had to use more mobile votes than I should have. I apologize to Kukai Ninjah Soma. I looked and saw that he was up against Israel Stevens. Israel is probably one of the top priorities to get in. I told Kukai that I'm sorry, but we couldn't send any support because it would just be wasted votes. I see today that Israel received only three votes.

I messed up in another way as well. I sent way too much support to Lancer450. The thing is, he needed no mobile votes. No one could have predicted that. This caused much confusion on Christmas. I instructed six people to go vote for him. Some of them did. I had very little time on Christmas because I was with my family.

I have one person in particular to thank for my victory. The guy's name is Cody Caine. I was with relatives all day long, and had to sneak away at halftime during the Packers vs. Bears game to check how my race was going. I was extremely tired, so I told Cody I couldn't stay up until reset. The game got to me. I kept checking nervously. With an hour until reset I fell asleep worried. Cody had told me that he had it, and I still had very little faith. I've fallen asleep before reset on election day comfortably before, only to wake up to a loss. Cody had gathered four mobile voters, something I didn't have the time to do. I was told by fellow members that the last few minutes were very intense. The person I was most worried about--Richard Yung, received two sniper votes. Thankfully we had four and were able to win. Thank you Cody, you are the reason that I'm now in Congress.

The Revolutionary Party saw great success. Two of our three members running won. Lancer450 was a big reason for this. He campaigned alone, needing no mobile voters. If he had a close race I would've been forced to give up. As a smaller party it's very hard to get a strong group of mobile voters, thankfully many people volunteered. The Libertarians got two members in as well. We have the same amount of members in as them, great, right!

I'm very excited for the month ahead. As usual there are some great people here. This will be the best learning experience I've ever had. I should be very active, and I will help other party members learn more about the job once I know more. Thank you to everyone who voted for me, I can't even explain how thankful I am. My five gold is being donated to the Q5 weapons factory that the Revolutionary Army is trying to build.
