The Word: Revolution Inaction

Day 2,013, 10:58 Published in USA USA by SColbert

Hello Nation,

Today I will be talking to you about the “opposition.” To many this brings to mind AIM, and even the 6th Party Coalition. As the architect of the 6PC® and the acting Chairman for 3 months prior I like to think I know a bit about the opposition. Are we a crack team of people always playing to our strengths? You bet. Are we a force to be reckoned with? Oh yeah. And here is what I think about the current state of the opposition, and my advice on how to better it.

The rage against forum use, and the metagame in particular is definitely helping. Sure such things allow you to become better organized, more agile, and allow for general competence, but if we were to submit ourselves to such platforms then we would be just like those we hate! Which are those damn elitists. So here is to less structure, more miscommunication, and more conspiracy theories! Success is for the successful, and with our current path isn’t it just better for us to complain about we don’t like?

We need more melodramatic articles that compare our struggle for a more inclusive government, to those of historical oppressive regimes. Who doesn’t like articles that quote “V for Vendetta”, or show pictures of Tiananmen Square? Keep making these types of articles, but don’t take any real action. You can only hope to inspire people to action through your own inaction. Plus who has that kind of time, and energy? I mean if you put that much into a game than you might as well be a dirty elitist. Don’t worry guys I am sure eventually we will do something. In the meantime continue doing nothing. I’m sure someone else will pick up the slack.

It is time for the opposition to find a new target for their hate. Pfieffer is so last year. I have heard some great suggestions so far: fingerguns, Mazzy_Cat, and even the entire Federalist Party. But why not take it a step further? Why can’t everyone who is not us be a scapegoat for our hate? All those who dare to work for their government positions. Those who use underhanded tactics like (dare I say it?) primaries outside of the game. Or pretty much anyone who takes part in the Unity system. If you feel you have what it takes to be the opposition’s newest object of hate apply here https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1yF3RS5-BL8CHtmaxG5CyNq3mEi9j0rzxDAKrr40VqUY/viewform

The opposition here in the eUS is a force not to be trifled with. We have already mastered the use of over dramatic articles, and the ability to complain about almost everything. We the opposition might look weak, but that is because we refuse to give ourselves the same advantages our enemies have. And as long as we willingly handicap ourselves, we are sure to continue with our current success. That is why we are a revolution inaction.

And that’s the word.
