The Week of Foxes: My story

Day 3,040, 04:07 Published in Romania Romania by Lozni

Once upon a time there was Fox neighbourhood and as in every neighbourhood, everyone knew everyone. All the foxes were friends with each other and they would throw parties, they would gather on holidays and gossip, they would make jokes and everything was fun and all the foxes lived happily.

One day, the Fox committee in that neighbourhood decided to do good deeds also and they gathered food for the poor families in that neighbourhood. So cute! What no one knew, though, was that among these happy Foxes there was one Fox that at a first glance you wouldn’t notice she is different. She was like everyone else: partying, smiling, running and fetching food for others.

However, this Fox that was known in the neighbourhood as the PHF that kept hiding the fact that although always cheerful she actually was a sad Fox. Every time she would find herself alone she would sleep. Yes, sleep. Out of all the things one could do when left alone, you choose to sleep? Well, yeah. Because sleeping would teleport her to another world, to a world in which there are no foxes, no penguins, no bears, no humans and no world. This way the PHF could meet her parents who died when she was little. This way she could see other planets, she could feel more feelings. Basically, in her sleep all the boundaries disappear. There is no limit, no shapes and no fear that the unforseen could happen since everything and everyone could be reached again only by thinking of it and starting to visualize it. You cannot lose a dear one because everything is in one place at any time you wish.

Both her real life world and her dream world were quite perfect. Too perfect for any of them to last for more than a few moments. And this was her last dream before she drown in her own blood after the hunter shot aggressively three times...
