The War of All Wars

The Balkans have finally erupted!

If there's a war I've been waiting to happen it's the war between Hungary and Romania. As most of you know, a year ago, Hungary was not the superpower it is today. A year ago Hungary was a small eCountry with a handful of citizens controlling just two of their original regions. Who would have thought then that they would turn the tables and attack Romania. The National Goals of the current Hungarian president couldn't have been more clear about that and yet, how many of you really thought it would happen?

The operation started 15 minutes before midnight eRepublik time - Hungary attacked Crisana and half an hour later Bulgaria attacked Dobrogea. Bulgaria also took advantage of the newly opened war with Greece to attack Macedonia and thus prevent Greece from helping out Romania with an eventual blocking attack. This also means Turkey is now free to attack (which they actually did just a few minutes ago - the Aegean Islands are under fire).

At the same time Spain is trying to draw as much damage away from Romania as possible by attacking Italy (1 active battle) and France (3 active battles). Croatia has been patient and took hits from Hungary, Serbia and Slovenia over the last 3-4 months, but it seems they're done waiting - they've just launched 4 attacks on Slovenia which means two thirds of the country is under attack! All eyes are now on Serbia - when will they join the fight and who will they attack? Will it be Croatia once more? Or maybe Romania? Or are they just going for the Greek high iron region? We'll see 🙂

The official Canadian orders are to fight in Dobrogea, while the official orders for Romanians are to fight in Crisana which is well underground at the moment.

So, what are you waiting for? Go and fight for your ally!!!
