The War for the Three Pillars, Coordinated Civilian Effort, and More!

19 December, 2009, Day 760 of the New World - Today is the day the Asian continent truly blows up. A must win battle, a massive fight, the possibility of the servers crashing. This is what we were trained for since the days of only holding one state. This is the day that we stand up to those who tried to conquer us and show them that they do not belong outside their original regions. They do not have the right to hold hostage regions from a defenseless nation. They have no right. No right.

Liaoning - The First of Three Pillars

There are three pillars of oppression on the Asian continent. Karnataka, Heilongjiang, and Liaoning. Indonesia, Hungary, and Iran. Oddly enough, all three of these nations are weak and lack proper resources to wage war. But their colonies, these pillars, are what drive their war machine economies and funded the attacks on Canada, Spain, the United States, and now Australia and Greece.

These three pillars must collapse, and be brought back to their original owners China and India. This is the goal of my administration, despite what the election day write-up said, and I will fight for this until my term is over. I hope the American people will agree - taking down these pillars of oppression will destroy the threat that is the imperial powers of Indonesia, Hungary, and Iran.


I expect that red spot to be a crater by this time tomorrow.

To do so, we're preparing to unload a lot for this. Guns for Huns, a program to issue free weapons to those civilians whom request them, and the Coordinated Civilian Effort, a first in the history of eRepublik, where we take Guns for Huns and give the citizens the means to meet on the IRC like the actual military does, be distributed weapons, and then fight alongside each other in coordination in a limited time frame to achieve a morale and psychological advantage. Precision, accuracy, comradeship.

Today is definitely a day that will be put in the history books. For the first time in the history of the e-world, the United States is leading an offensive into Asia and has in her sights the three most valuable regions to the enemy. And with the combined Allied Forces behind her, it will be a fight worth remembering. I also want to congratulate our own Former President and current Chairman of Joint Chiefs of Staff, Gaius Julius, on being appointed Military Commander of EDEN's Allied Forces.

Coordinated Civilian Effort

For all those interested in taking your own bought guns, or guns received from Guns for Huns, I would heavily recommend participating in the Coordinated Civilian Effort, which can be found here. The basic idea is to get a large group of citizens together at a specific time, make sure they are armed to the teeth, and then at the same time everyone attacks.

This is done by military forces around the world to strike a psychological blow to the enemy by displaying our coordination and dedication of the players. It also is a morale boost to those participating, as the wall plummets closer the underground and the enemy struggles to pick it back up. All those attending will be granted five Q1 guns for free via the Guns for Huns distribution team.


Off to war - our armor is ready, how about you?

The time to be on will at 15:30 eRepublik Time (6:30pm Eastern, 5:30pm Central) on the second day of the battle, Day 761 of the New World. The actual attack will occur within thirty minutes of that time depending on weapon distribution.

Also, all those in participation will be thanked in an upcoming article by me (among other government and military officials), and may get other goodies. If this proves successful, a Coordinated Civilian Effort may be something we see for all the battles against the Three Pillars and repeat attendees may be granted higher quality weapons. Also, a "uniform" will be presented which all are encouraged to change their avatars to so we know who all we are fighting alongside. We want the enemy to know: We're here.

Some Articles to Keep an Eye On

Media control is key during major battles like this. We are expecting a total war across the globe, including every occupied region of ours to have a resistance war as a distraction battle. For this purpose, media is key. I would heavily recommend all congressmen shout battle orders repeatedly, and every civilian do their best to make sure the world knows where we are fighting. We want as few of our uninformed two-clickers to be fighting in those distraction battles as possible.
