The very beginning - Canada

Day 1,880, 06:27 Published in Canada Canada by Kokosz Jajko

Welcome all!

This newspaper is created for fun, I don't really expect it to help anybody 🙂.

If it doesn't scare You, my dear reader, I would like to notice two things:
- English is not my native language. I'm very sorry but I'm aware that I am going to make mistakes and some things may sound strange. Please, point me everything which is wrong

- the main idea of this newspaper is to compare. Compare what? Compare prices, earnings in countries and to get to know where is the best situation.

I don't really know if the economic situation is the same in the whole world. Then this newspaper will be pointless. But it doesn't matter for me now, to be honest I would like to ascertain myself, you can do it (if you still don't know it 😁 with me. I don't also exclude to abandon this after few days. This patience, you know what I mean.

I'm not economist in RL, so the vocabulary may be ignorant.

1. The beginning

The idea is to compare the money which we can earn in countries and how many things we can buy for it. I hope the conclusion will show where in the erep world we can live in the easiest way.

I think one country will occur in each article.

2. Canada

The choice for first country is obvious, so I don't comment it more. It also will be used to learn the way, I would like to analize. I doesn't matter that it's complicated, it's simple and everybody can do it himself. It's simple, as every currency is equal.

I know. Situation very variable and propably one week later it will be outdated. All data for about 30 level citizen, producing basics products. Let's assume that our testing citizen doesn't have friends, so nobody can help him increasing salary or lowering prices.

I. Job market

These days in Canada we can earn: (the average of 5 highest offers on job market):

17.75 CAD

It gives us:

0,05325 GOLD

each day. The ratio is 1 CAD = 0.003 GOLD. How can we spent it?

II. Food

The assumption is that we buy the cheapest product. So we can buy:

Q1: price 0,04 CAD, 2 energy per unit:
443 units --> 887 energy

Q2: price 0,05 CAD, 4 energy per unit:
355 units --> 1420 energy

Q3: price 0,09 CAD, 6 energy per unit:
197 units --> 1183 energy

Q4: price 0,14 CAD, 8 energy per unit:
126 units --> 1014 energy

Q5: price 0,33 CAD, 10 energy per unit:
53 units --> 537 energy

Q6: price 0,49 CAD, 12 energy per unit:
36 units --> 434 energy

Q7: price 1,09 CAD, 20 energy per unit:
16 units --> 325 energy

Because of difference between 1st and 2nd price of Q7 food this is second offer:

Q7: price 1,38 CAD, 20 energy per unit:
12 units --> 257 energy

Conclusion? If you have to buy food, buy Q2. Daily you can fill full energy three times.

III. Weapons

This won't be so easy to compare, as using is much more complex. So I used the simple, home-made indicator showing the cost of given firepower: (bigger😛etter)

Q1: price 0,18 CAD, 20 firepower per unit:
98 units --> ind. 19,7

Q2: price 0,3 CAD, 40 firepower per unit:
59 units --> ind. 47,3

Q3: price 0,45 CAD, 60 firepower per unit:
39 units --> ind. 71

Q4: price 1,1 CAD, 80 firepower per unit:
16 units --> ind. 51,6

Q5: price 2,2 CAD, 100 firepower per unit:
8 units --> ind. 40

Q6: price 4,06 CAD, 120 firepower per unit:
4 units --> ind. 31,4

Q7: price 12,75 CAD, 200 firepower per unit:
1 units --> ind. 27,8

Conclusion: we won't get rampage. Indicator showed Q3 as the most beneficial weapon, but even I personally doubt. Remember, that cost of energy is not included.

IV. Weapon raw material

Average cost: 0,04 CAD
Daily can buy: 443

IV. Food raw material

Average cost: 0,02 CAD
Daily can buy: 887

Conclusion: Poverty. I think better solution is to save 10 gold from medals and buy Aluminium Mine. In that way from one building we can produce in one month weapon raw materials worth 150 CAD.
