Day 1,062, 15:02 Published in USA Switzerland by Rocky841

Oh and subscribe!

Welcome ladies and gentleman to this special edition of What's Up eUSA. On today's to-do list we will be discussing about recent events here in eUSA. We will also be discussing the Untied States Training Corps who is currently recruiting. Lets get down to our top story of the week.

There wasn't that many fronts open!

How many fronts can there be in last week. Defending, resistance, and offensives! We had it all and we still have it, but everything has to go!....Oh wait wrong job *cough* sorry I thought I was doing my night time job as a salesman. Just joking jeez you guys are way to serious, but seriously we have to close up some of these fronts fast!
You--> "Most fronts are closed."
Yea I know *cough* I'm just testing you. Nah I'm just joking lets start over. *Clears throat* Hi my name is Rocky841, what's yours?

*cricket*
Fine moving on like I was saying in past week an average of 10 fronts were open and yes some closed, but due to the "new" wall module and MPP rules there has been an increase in wars and military activates. That is right ladies and gentleman the war module V1.5 as people call it is some how a success. So we ask our president (not literally) what's the point of so many wars? That is a good question America so lets see how what the people had to say........

Public Opinion

Question 1:
What's your opinion on the recent battles?
-Morrigan Alexandros
Let me at them!
Question 2:
Do you think eUSA was way over its head?
-Morrigan Alexandros
We are the best coordinated eUS military. We CAN into war!
Question 3:
What is the point of so many wars?
-Morrigan Alexandros
Ask the Russians or the new MPP rules. 😛

That is right out of the ten people I PMed only one responded. People if I or someone from Rockafella Industries has PMed you please answer the questions the world wants to know what you think of the recent events!

Take a moment America and imagine that you had ten companies (I don't know how or why, but if you do spread the wealth!) in California, but Russia decides to take California. Who is going to help protect your companies from the mean Russians? The answer is simple the eUSA military, but wait were did they get there experience for combat? From the USTC of course! They have been preparing generations of eUS solders for over one year! So take part in the action and sign up today and take up the ranks that your forefathers have achieved! The USTC is currently accepting applications from both new and old players alike. Sign-up today! (This ad was paid for by the USTC Public Affairs Office.)

The USTC

And we are back ladies and gentleman, so the whole reason for this article is for the USTC, but some of you may not know who the USTC is so lets gets some background on them.

The background and the goals!

The USTC or the United States Training Corps was founded over a year ago with the idea to replace the United States Training Division. They have been accomplishing this by teaching the old and new erepublik citizens about the tactics, history, Corps values, and life in the military, as well as a complete hands on training program. The USTC has had thousands upon thousands of people pass there program and has been recognized as a valued part of the eUSA Military. The USTC has faced and overcome the changes from V1-V2-V1.5 so don't worry they are more up to date than the admins!

Why join???????

Because he will kill you if you don't!

Why join is the question to many of you, well there are many reason for example you would meet a community of new friends and take on challenges that will test your skills for example weather or not to attack Japan or what type of smoothie should I buy at Jack in the Box. These questions can haunt you if you do not chose wisely, but the USTC will help you every step of the way. Along with that once graduating from the USTC you will be able to join one of eUSA's military branches like the Marines, Army, or National Guard.

But if you don't believe me lets ask some officers!

Questions will be in order like this:

What is your position in the USTC?
Did you go through the USTC?
If so do you believe it benefited you?
Or if not do you think your eMilitary career would have been different if you went through the USTC?
Do you believe the USTC benefits new citizens?
Do you have any recommendation to the people out there who have not gone through the USTC?

Answers!

Morrigan Alexandros
-What is your position in the USTC?
Executive Officer of the Training Corps.
-Did you go through the USTC?
Yes, when I was a wee baby in November 2009.
-If so do you believe it benefited you?
Greatly. I learned about erep, the military and have a great group of friends. it is the reason I come back to erep every day.
-Or if not do you think your eMilitary career would have been different if you went through the USTC?
I would have probably quit by now...who knows.
-Do you believe the USTC benefits new citizens?
Yes. TC teaches you how to be a productive and useful member of the eUS military. We also have a great community that makes people want to stay. And we have cookies!
-Do you have any recommendation to the people out there who have not gone through the USTC?
Do it for the cookies!!!!!!!!!! They are gooey and yummy.
But, try it out. You will see it is fun and it enhances your erep experience.

dmjohnston
-What is your position in the USTC?
I am the Commander of the First (Training) Division, the Deputy Chief of TC Operations, and the Senior Information Systems Officer.
-Did you go through the USTC?
Yes, I was a Graduate with Honors almost 9 months ago.
-If so do you believe it benefited you?
Absolutely. TC is where a great portion of the eMilitary has its roots. It taught me all the skills I needed to succeed in eRep, as well as introducing me to a myriad of new people who have become close friends.
-Do you believe the USTC benefits new citizens?
Definitely. There is a reason that the TC IRC channel is the new official new citizen channel. Not only does it allow people to ask questions of some of the most active people in the game, it lets new players talk to their peers about the eMilitary. Not just for military info either. Many people in the political and business aspects of the game are also in the eMilitary.
-Do you have any recommendation to the people out there who have not gone through the USTC?
DO IT! It's worth the experience, you learn a lot of useful information, and the people are AWESOME!

Synesi
-What is your position in the USTC?
I am a captain in the USTC. I help out with our commune as a Logistics Manager, and I am the commanding officer of the 111th platoon in our training division; in addition to those positions, I am also a junior operations officer.
-Did you go through the USTC?
Yes, I did. I think I played eRep for about 2-3 weeks before I filled out the USTC application.
-If so do you believe it benefited you?
Yes, absolutely. I have met some amazing people through the USTC. The awesome community and the friends that I have made are what keep me coming back to eRep over and over again. The USTC program taught me how to play the game and has been an invaluable help.
-Do you believe the USTC benefits new citizens?
Do Coyotes listen to Ke$ha?
The USTC gives new players a chance to meet new people and to enjoy the great community that eRep has to offer. To really appreciate a game like eRep, you MUST get involved. And the USTC is a fantastic way to get involved.
-Do you have any recommendation to the people out there who have not gone through the USTC?
Sign up...NOW!
At least stop by #tc and meet us for yourself, you won't regret it

Relin
-What is your position in the USTC?
I'm Quartermaster General of the USTC, currently holding the rank of Colonel. I run the TC's 2nd Logistics Division, which is in charge of the TC's assets: currency, companies and supplies.
-Did you go through the USTC?
Before the TC was around, there was another branch that had a similar mission; I went through that training program, graduated, and took command of my own training platoon shortly after.
Around six months ago, I took a short hiatus from eRep, and when I came back, I went through basic training in it's current form.
-If so do you believe it benefited you?
Different people will tell you different things, and it mostly depends on when you joined. My first time through basic occurred when I knew nothing about the game, so it opened my eyes to aspects of the game I never knew existed. Those parts of the game inspired me to become more active.
-Do you believe the USTC benefits new citizens?
Absolutely. On the surface, basic training is a formal education in how the eUS military and the war module works, but a good portion of players can learn those portions from playing the game for a week or two, getting to know an older player, or simply lurking on the eUS forums. For the people, the USTC still has something to offer: a social group, one of many that are available.
-Do you have any recommendation to the people out there who have not gone through the USTC?
Just do it. For the knowledgeable and enthusiastic, basic training takes 24 hours; for most, it takes 48. In the process, you'll be given the opportunity to meet a community filled with the game's most active and long-time players, as well as the opportunity to fight for your country with free weapons and food.
No one signs a contract, so if you find that the military isn't your cup of tea, you can walk away. No questions asked. And if you ever decide to return, you'll have a step up on the majority of the eRep population.
But Wait lets here what people that have graduated from the USTC have to say!

Questions:

What is your current emilitary statues?
Do you believe the USTC got you were you are now?
What is your recommendation to people who have not gone through the USTC?

1.) I am currently Executive Officer of the USTC 123rd Platoon.
2.) I would say that the USTC was instrumental to introducing me to a whole new part of this game beyond eating, training, and all the other clicking activities that you do as part of the vanilla version of this game. It introduced me to a whole new set of people through the IRC Channel and the forums.
3.) I would suggest the joining the USTC to anyone currently playing the game. It's really a great group of people, and we have a lot of fun doing everything from just hanging out, to defending the interests of the eAmerican public.

My current emilitary status is honorably discharged from USTC while awaiting my transfer into Cavalry.
The USTC has been very very good to me. They are quality people and a smooth running operation.
As an older player who served during WW3, I can tell you the USTC is an ideal entry to any branch of the eUS military. Our strength as an eNation is in working together as a unit. No one does that better than the eUS military. And no one handles the training of raw recruits better than the USTC.

Tappman
Cavalry
Yes
Go through it

So after reading comments the question here is will you step up or will you stand by? You know I tried going through USTC and personally it was cool nice people. Helpful learned a lot, but it was not for me so I ended up failing. I somewhat regret it because I have no idea what is going on in the eMilitary, but I do know this my seven months here in eRep I have meet lots of people seen lots of action and reported lots of things, but 90% of the things I saw and heard were related to the eMilitary and I bet if I were to go and ask those people that were in that 90% tile I bet all of them or at least 95% can say they were in the USTC.

Final Comment

Well ladies and gentle man that is all for today, but let us reflect on the things that goes on here in eRep. This is for both new and old players, it doesn't matter if you are a reporter, company owner, politician, or a solider. What does matter is that we have fun and enjoy the game because what I have seen recently is that someone says something or is accused of something and there reputation is destroyed. For example a friend, who's name I will not mention, recently quite eRep because he was accused of spying. There was no evidence there was no trial there wasn't anything that would could say he was a spy. Yet the Italian government black listed him just because some one said he was. Why would that person say something? Well it is obvious we all get power hungry at one moment in our eRep and real life that it doesn't matter who we hurt as long as we get the power we want. I am guilty of doing that, but I stopped myself before I hurt someone else. So next time you want power, but your opponent has a higher chance to win, don't go and accuse him of something because you will only be hurting yourself. Until next Thursday ladies gentlemen have a good week!
