Reporting for Duty
Some readers may remember my work with the USArmy's Public Affairs Office newspaper, The Army Times. It has been my interest to return to media work as my third term in the US Congress ends later this month.
General Ralph "NoPants" Ericson has assigned me to the Cavalry's (S-5) Media Unit, to take charge of its Public Affairs Office Org and the US Cavalry's official newspaper, The Saber.
I will be expected to develop a distinct image and format for the paper, as well as build a team of writers to ensure regular reporting of Cavalry news and other interesting reading on a regular basis.
I welcome this challenge and invite all interested writers to contact me through this Org, to arrange an IRC meeting to discuss the job that lies ahead.

Today's edition of The Saber is a reprint of my own newspaper, a basic fluff recruitment piece.
Please enjoy it.. again if you already have seen it... Be sure to Vote and Subscribe, and we'll look forward to welcoming you again in the coming days with fresh material developed specifically for The Saber.
