"It's story time you little bastards"

I know a lot of Libertarian Party members are probably wondering just what in the hell happened yesterday, the day of the Party President elections.

Well, it's a long story really. It goes back to the previous Party President elections, there were many runners and one of them was named N I K A N. When he was running he didn't have a lot of native support, you may remember voting for him but I'm fairly sure a large number of you do not, he filled his future cabinet positions with many people but one in particular was named Pizza The Hut. That bit of information is important because it's relevant to the future. The congress elections occured shortly after and one member he gave "official" support to run for in congress was a Pizza The Hut faithful Pierce Vaughn, after running for Congress in the Libertarian Party he decided to switch parties when Pizza the Hut left.

The reason why this is important is because prior to the Party President elections Pizza the Hut decided to leave the country and was subsequently let back in the day after, thanks to Pierce Vaughn, defying a ban to allow him into the country on the grounds that he is a consistent PTO threat fairly well ensuring he has no political future outside of a party owned and maintained by Pizza the Hut might I add.

This all seems quite unimportant to the average player, why should you care about any of this and how is it tied into the Party President election that just passed?



Well, N I K A N was initially awarded the Party President position because of Pizza The Hut, this is extremely important because in the days before the Party President election N I K A N declared that there would likely be a PTO by Pizza the Hut and wanted CIA support and ATO support (government programs designed to prevent a PTO) to solidify his position of power, knowing he had absolutely no support to continue reigning as Party President.

This plan did not work because as I explained to others, there was no threat. When he was denied ATO support he decided there would then be a primary and that we would handle any PTO threat personally, on the ballot were N I K A N, Jelly9473 (Our current Party President) and Texas_ironman93, at the time the poll was created N I K A N had administrator powers at the Libertarian Party Forum, when the poll was created initially, Jelly9473 had a healthy lead, up by nearly 10 from the other contenders however on the day prior to the election, N I K A N and Texas_ironman93 had both gained nearly 10 votes each. Knowing something was suspicious I decided to run an audit of the voters, later, I would come to find that the voting process wasn't the only thing compromised.

With his administrator powers, N I K A N had given all groups on the forum defacto administrator powers. Normal members could edit anything, delete anything, see everything and most importantly: Vote anywhere. The private poll had been compromised, people who were never in the party and proxy and fake email users were registering like mad to vote for N I K A N and Texas_ironman93 like mad.

Syrup later accepted responsibility for voting for Texas_ironman93 in the primary, whereas nobody accepted responsibility for voting for N I K A N.

In my compiled report I implicate N I K A N in creating the accounts and voting for himself, being that he is a Croatian user and all of the IPs who voted for him were from Croatia. Once implicated, he called off the primary and said anyone could run despite Jelly9473 winning the primary with the false votes removed. N I K A N claimed he called for another vote after the fact, but there was absolutely no mention of this at any time.

N I K A N endorsed Claire Littleton for the Party Presidency, and had dropped out of the race. He claimed he dropped out of the race because it was clear he had lost the primary, but he only dropped out of the race once he was implicated in the scandal. Due to his powers being stripped from the forum and him being banned from the IRC channels as a clear result of his corruption, he decided to kick and scream like a child and changed our party name, avatar and info.

He also deleted all of the accounts on the forum which voted for him and his own account on the forum.

Included below is my audit of the elections, all of the non party members documented did not have party member status on the forum and instead were newly registered members with standard access granted the ability to vote in polls, among other things, by N I K A N.

I am sincerely sorry for the events that transpired, being the administrator of the website some of the blame obviously rests on myself. I am sorry for Texas_ironman93 and Jelly9473 because the primary vote was compromised as a result.

One thing people can not deny, however, is the evidence presented to you. N I K A N abused his (albeit wrongfully given) administrator powers on both the forums and eRepublik to support his pro-Pizza The Hut agenda by appointing a pro-Pizza the Hut member to congress which allowed him access back into the country. N I K A N compromised the polls, the party page and the sanctity of the primary which he advocated on the basis that he would be the winner due to his position of power and the ability to cheat.

The system has been changed, this will never happen in the future and I will not make this same mistake again. This does not however dismiss N I K A N's share of the blame.
