Well eCanada yet again secured Nunavut and on the way to securing NWT, I think it's safe to say we will be gaining a congress!
Hats off to all that have helped on the battlefield and with donations, all is appreciated!
With all the new territory comes talks of a congress and people are already getting excited. Also there seems to be a returning player on the scene. I personally don't know him but his name was mentioned by Pat in a recent interview so I am assuming he is well known and loved in the community. So welcome back and I look forward to meeting you Oinyo.
Now I want to put out what I would like for eCanada moving forward. When we have our NAP with eSpain and a congress we will have the time and the resources (if the security fee to eSpain is not breaking bank) to develop and actually allow eCanadians to be fully engrossed in the game with their companies.
1. Lowered Work Tax
Okay we all know we have been paying way too much at 20% so let's bring it down to about 3%! This way we will have a bit coming in but it's low enough that it will almost be unnoticed compared to what we have been used to.
2. Getting into CoT
With the referendum regarding ASGARD I think it's safe to say we need a change. So why not join
Circle of Trust - CoT! If we can join multiple alliances then I see no reason why we shouldn't! I was looking at
TWO but they are alittle on the aggro side of things for my tastes, but if it prevents eCountries from
being aggro on us then... let's consider them too.
3. eImmigration
I had mentioned in an earlier article that I had spoken to someone on irc willing to immigrate to eCanada.
As the days go on I notice a few ex-eCanadians also wanting to comeback to their homeland. I truly think
that our NAP with eSpain will be seen as a triumph to players in other eSpaniard controlled eCountries and
they will want to join us just to not have to deal with eSpain. This will bring in more active players and
increase revenue from the 3% work tax!
3. Federal Funding for MU Subsidies
Now this is probably asking for a lot and I wouldn't be surprised if no one was with me on this one; but I
seriously think MU's do a lot and should be reimbursed for the weapon subsidies they provide. This can be
applied based on damage done rather than population. This may actually entice MUs and players to put out
more damage and play the game to the fullest! (again not really expecting anyone to be on board with this)
EDIT - We already have funding
😐(NOOB ALERT) - So I mean MORE FUNDING!!
4. Greater Player Participation
I am trying to be an active citizen of eCanada and luckily have met many more! It would be great to get a
surge of revival from all those 2-clicking eCanadians. Now is the time to Play The Game!!!!

and MU's in normal time are usually subsidized actually, but we haven't had normal times in a while so they haven't been. i'm sure the issue will be addressed 🙂
also CoT may be our best option at this time.... though at this point I'm actually for staying neutral 😛

Nice, plaque! I think that getting Congress will be good in many ways, it will get Canadians interested in the game again, and most importantly it will let us get old eCanadians back into the country and new ones who want to get in!
jeez, those are some good ideas, especially the funding we could give out. If we already do have funding, that's the first I ever heard about it, too.
I like how 3% gives the government more revenue to fund the military and pay for our war debts to eSpain. But then, would not 5% give us even more funds to work with? I think we should cut the Work Tax down to nothing (ie. 1😵 to attract more people or find a way to have a higher Work Tax work to our advantage by offering better funding for players. It's just too bad 20% leads to starvation and people leaving the country, otherwise it would be worth having the extra cash.
Circle of Trust sounds alright. WOLF is a bad idea I had anyhow, since people don't seem keen on joining underpowered alliances with only a few members, though that seems to contradict what got us into Asgar...go figure.

WOLF would be cool if we could be in multiple alliances, but we had to pick one I'd prefer CoT. They have the numbers and a good mandate.
