The State of Our Nation
ArrowLance
North Korea continues to go on in its miserable state. But there is some hope.
In the last elections the North Korean Workers Party (NKWP) did surprisingly well; their candidate, Strasser, took 36% of the national vote. Whether because of the independent Korean's strength or a move to hide the Russians true strength it shows our numbers, 58. That is 17% of North Korea's population, a group that has power.
However the economy appears to be degrading. Inflation has doubled the cost of food, 0.8 to 1.6 for Q1, and wages remain stagnant and in many cases decline. No doubt the migration of Russian and Belorussian associates had an effect along with the issuing of 2000 KPW for 10 gold, but for the long run the North Korea job market has always been suffering and the unrealistically high minimum wage restricts its growth.
What then can be done by those who do still long for a better Korea. If change can not be made on any scale through the current state, which appears to be proven over and over again, then a second insurgent opposition government should be formed under the the NKWP.
With a long standing puppet government in place in North Korea it is obvious Koreans stand no chance in its 'democratic' apparatus. And now with rumors of further foreign, possibly hostile, involvement it is obvious, foreign aid is the only chance for Korean independence.
Then until such a time when true Korean citizenry can stand up and constitute ourselves through the formal apparatus of 'the elections' it is pertinent we organize ourselves so as to be better prepared for that time. Also in order to better their community and provide aid for the new Korean citizens and unapproved immigrants in the failing economy we must come together to try and provide the social services the formal government refuses or fails to provide.
In order to continue the Korean spirit we must become secondary to the hostile government that exorcises control over our homeland. No longer should we joke about its legitimacy, instead we should exert its illegitimacy withdrawing and becoming a government in exile.

Interesting proposals, could you develop them further?
21Strasser-- I think, he simply suggests you become "eden"
@la carne de consumo@
Severnaia, I think that he means to make a society appart from the goverment.
Yes Strasser, I think we should organize so that we can do as much as we can outside of the actual government system. Also we would be a coherent political force and could communicate with external powers more effectively. And so hopefully someday when we do have the opportunity to return to power we are ready, experienced, organized, and familiar with the rest of the world and them to us. I would love to elaborate further and even help create such a thing a soon as possible but I'm afraid I must go away for the weekend.
A quick example could be done by talking about oppressed peoples such as the Jews or other countries during WW2 such as France or the Baltic States. When a foreign power practiced sovereignty over their land they did not just disperse and vie for power in any system set up by the oppressors but continued to organize for their nation and communicate with the allied powers about all sorts of things including the state of insurgency. They tried to operate as efficiently as they could while all the real power still rested in occupation government.
