Join the new world

In the past the South West Regional Council has supported new players understand the game and brought fun to the South West. We are now recruiting new councillors to take part in helping our community grow weather you have some or no experience sign up and share your ideas. You can take part by sending messages, writing articles, raising/donating money, starting competitions or anything else you can think of. Just post in the South West section of the National Forums to let us know you want to get involved.

The traditional posts available are:

Council Chairman
This role will consist of organising the council, ensuring rules are followed, jobs are done, etc. This role will require a high activity level, and the ability to lead effectively and democratically.
Note - This role is open to any applicants, however, it is voted on by the council only.

Councillor of Finance
This role will consist of organising and obtaining funding for the regional council. This councillor will be responisble for budgeting our spending. They will also be responsible for all purchases for the region, including (but not limited to) Moving tickets, competition prizes and similar. They will also have to approve any competitions proposed, and will have the power to block any competition if the council has insufficient funds for it (Note - If someone volunteers to privately fund the competition, then it may go ahead). The person fulfilling this role will HAVE to be able to use the Monetary Market to his/her best ability. Will also be responsible for promoting donations to the council.

Councillor of Media
This role will consist of promoting the region and assisting new citizens through PMs and news articles. Good spelling and punctuation are essential. The person in this role will ideally be willing to work together with the other Councillors to publish content.

Councillor of Transport
This role will consist of encouraging and assisting citizens to move here. Once we have funds, this councillor will be also be responsible for sending out moving tickets for those who wish to move here.

Councillor of Health
This role will consist of making new citizens aware of Wellness and how to maintain it through food, gifts and fighting. This will be through writing articles and answering PMs and forum posts from players.

Councillor of Entertainment
This role will consist of organising competitions and threads of interest for the region to encourage activity. You will need to work together with the councillor of media to promote each competition/update.
