The situation of our beloved republic

Rock bottom
Since i've started with Erepublik in March this year, i believe i have never seen ENL in the situation it is currently in. We are in a financial crisis, we have been wiped off the map, the weapons we get from working in the communes vastly decreased and there are no signs of a possible short term recovery. I don't know about the years before, but i guess it's safe to say that we have hit rock bottom during the last few weeks.
The oppressor, Poland (also known to many as loland) is currently draining our resources, the resources we so desperately need to get out of this crisis.
Light at the end of the tunnel
Despite our current situation, i think the ENL community will overcome these problems eventually. I don't know where we currently are in the tunnel, but it has to end eventually and hopefully there will be light at the end of it.
I hope that our current situation doesn't lead to a massive exodus of players to other (more prospering) republics and i hope that the entire community is willing to make the best of it and work hard to overcome these problems.
The next Presidential elections will be fought out by more than two candidates this time, but whoever wins, we shall have to remain united as a community...
Because our real enemy, is still out there!
I would like to end my first article in erepublic with wishing goodluck to all the candidates for the upcoming elections and may the best one win!

why use the prinsenvlag? it was used in the past by the geuzen, but in recent history it is mostly remembered as a flag used by the nsb.

The NSB wasn't worthy enough to destroy the name of this flag, nor did they ever had the monopoly on it. It was the flag of the Dutch Republic. Since ENL does not have a monarch and is a republic, i think it suits ENL quite well.

To have our millions back that we had before the Garmr administration will still take several months. Any chance in CP won't help to speed that up, in any case it could just slow us down, We just need to go on, on the route layed down for us since the van Spijck administrations. I wish I had better news to tell you all. 😛

Great article, yes we do need unity because only together we can create a chance!
Our enemy Po- or Lolland wants our oil at all cost. That's why when we are just a little bit succesfull in our RW they put it as their Campaign of the Day. This means we need 10's of k's of weapons to get them out. Also an army that's on full alert to make a chance happen. And then we'd still have to keep the freed region. That will be the hardest, especially because the RW we can plan, but not the Polish NE.
i like the the prinsenvlag too, as it stands for a united lowlands (the netherlands+flanders)
