The shrinking of Pozsony
Peter Richter
I will continue my series of articles about my region with a fact and trend which is concerning me.
When I came here, the population here was 39 people (not much, but something). Today, a couple of days later, it is 32 and that is with 2 people moving here. If they hadn't moved here, it would have been 30 people left. Is there nobody who wants to go here?
Somehow I hope that people come here but it is tough to get Slovakians here, when there isn't an option when registering and getting Hungarians here doesn't really make sense since they want to play in their home region. I guess that in the end Pozsony will end up with 10 citizens unless a lot of Hungarians decide to move here.
I guess time will show whether this region will grow or fall.

Pozsony isn\'t alone in this situation....Pecs also has a low population....probably the parlament is busy now with remaking everything and they don\'t idscover the danger of low populationel regions....
Hope, you can understand my english...😉😒
Humans are barbarians. It took centuries for people to understand that countries, and by this, people, can grow better it there is peace.
The new World begun 232 days ago, and we are still learning. Hungary has not benefitted of conquering Slovakia. It was a good marketplace where we could have sold our products. It would have been better to have 2 countries with a total of 700-800 people, than one with 500-600.
If I were a Slovakian I would not join a game were my country is not present because it was occupied by Hungary. I wonder how many Hungarians would join the game if Romania would conquer Budapest and the whole Hungary.
The \"Big Dream\" is a dream. Slovakia, Transylvania and other historic regions will never be part of Hungary. I know it is not possible, but I would free Slovakia and give it back to the Slovakians.
But we have to grow older to understand this. I hope we do not need a eWorld eWar to learn this. I hope nobody will conquer Hungary.
at above😁 That is why i was going to grant independence to slovakia because i do not agree with occupying lands.
@Zoli: I can\'t understand what is the point in talking again about the reasons and the result of that war. It has ended more than two weeks ago or so, and it\'s a long-long time in this e-world. Let\'s build the future under the conditions we have!
btw. I moved to Kassa from the capital motivated by reason settling the conquered area, and hope that many of us will follow my way
@ ben , he is not Czech He is slovakian, im sure the Czechs would support fellow slavs gain independence.
That is a great problem for Hungary here and in the in real world too: we have no \"fellows\", no \"relatives\" in Europe. That\'s why we always got f*cked by other countries, other peoples.
But that is the only reason why we are still alive and not assimilated into the germans or into the slavs who surround us. Unless we were prepared always for the worst we would already be a lost nation in the history books like many others.
Aparently \"slovakia has hungarians in it\"
nor do i
The question is (leaving real world issues at the door), could we rename Hungary to, say, Central European Union, so newly joined Slovakian users would see something less disappointing in the header?
cerasus: that\'s an opinion too, but (sorry to say that) I don\'t think it would get more backing than the margin of statistic error 🙂 Imagine e. g. e-Germany renaming their country to German-Polish Federation or e-Norway to Russo-Norwegia 🙂
but... to tell the truth... I have nothing against the good old Austro-Hungarian Monarchy in \"e-version\" 😉
Fritz von Tejfel:
That all sounds perfectly normal to me. Such renames occur in real world as well (think about the United Kingdom, the United States, the Soviet Union, etc.). If this could further the case of the country by gaining userbase in these turbulent times, it should be considered.
Oh yeah, and the AHM. 😛
