The Show Must Go On, Vote Nithraldur!
Severin Organization
I am delighted to announce Nithraldur once again as Irish Union Party candidate for the Presidency. This decision is in light of an internal party vote which Nithraldur won by a landslide. Quite frankly I am certain my colleagues in the Irish Union Party made the right choice and I am confident the people of eIreland will too. Nithraldur has done a great job as president and will continue to serve the eIrish people with absolute dedication if re-elected. The pictures are courtesy of Grainne Ni Mhaille.
Every month eIreland gets plagued with the same empty promises. There is nothing in eIreland that needs to be done which would require a radical change of administration and such promises are usually unattainable and impractical. Nithraldur believes in economic stability and stability is exactly what eIreland will get if he is re-elected. If you look at the list of candidates you will see a lot of upcoming politicians. I have a lot of respect for some of these people however for the most part they are simply too inexperienced to take on the job. Gradual process is the only way forward and Nithraldur is more than capable of ensuring this.
Since Nithraldur was elected eIreland's foreign relations have been improved, productivity has increased, people's general wellness has gone up, wages have gone up, prices have gone down, inflation has gone down, war games have been provided frequently and have been well organized and there hasn't been any serious mistakes in the adminstration. He has been criticized in the media (granted from the ICF) and his opposition is calling for change. Change? What do we need to change? Don't be won over by false hopes from politicians with self vested interests. People have to remember there is only so much a President can do in one month and some things take time to get up off the round. Handing the administration over to new inexperienced candidates will simply stunt the progress which has been made.
Nithraldur will publish a manifesto soon. As for now I encourage people to reflect on all which has been accomplished over the last month and ignore the mudslinging which is nothing but biased party politics rubbish. Vote for someone who will passionately serve the eIrish people and has the experience to back it up, vote for Nithraldur.
Caithfidh mé buíochas mór a ghabháil le Gráinne Ní Mháille I gcomhair na picturí deise,
Go raibh míle maith agat as do am is aire,
Neart le Chéile,
Severin, Irish Union Party President.
Comments
Nithraldur has done a great jobover the past month.
But, Its time for change.
Great job though!
I'd be inclined to agree with bryan, great job but there's a risk of irelands government becoming a ruling class, with too rare influxes of new ideas and servicepersons. Time to pass the torch
Time for stability and continuity. We have had too many one term Presidents. One more Month! One more month!
If it ain't broke don't fix it 🙂 eIreland shouldn't accept anything less than great. There is no point in change for the sake of change and action is more relevent than words.
Time to pass the torch off to whom? All I've seen in the other candidates are empty promises and far-fetched ideas that won't get accomplished. We need a leader who knows what he is doing and whose track record has been proven many times over.
I agree with Eamon we need Nith. You have my vote.
I haven't released my manifesto yet so don't make assumtions about other canditates Eamon.
I wish you the best of luck Nith and may the best canditate win.
Nith rocks
It's hard to believe that IUP members would have nothing but high praise for Nithraldur. Maybe he is that great!
"biased party politics rubbish"
Sounds like Nith all right
One more time Nith 🙂
lol, the IUP stole our idea of propaganda posters 😃
In what way is this propaganda???
It would be best to ignore Manni's comment, I think he would agree that claiming the invention of propaganda posters would be something not even the eIrish commies could cook up.
"Time to pass the torch off to whom?"
Pip kelly, thats whom. As Pip said, dont make assumtions eamonn. He hasnt released his manifesto yet.
We cant have eIreland been run single handed by one party, like it is now.
"We cant have eIreland been run single handed by one party, like it is now."
Taking a look at this statement aside from the obvious grammatical errors, I would like to pose a question to you. What is Pip or any other candidate going to say or propose that will be different from what any of the others are pledging?
-They will talk about bringing more to the people, through ensuring the state-owned companies look after everyone in eIreland.
-They will talk about the need for cheap housing, without a clear way to economically provide this to the people.
-They will talk about action in war games around the world.
-They will talk about needing to put eIreland on the international stage, something that is simply impossible to do, due to our size and lack of RM that make this nation less popular than the larger nations.
-They will talk about transparency, which just won't fully happen because most people don't get on the mediums in which transparency is given.
-They will talk about how we need to change from the ruling hand of the IUP, but change is simply impossible. What are you going to change? You can't change anything because this game and nation are run within the constraints of the game's mechanics.
So unless these other people come up with some fairy tale, Nith is the only proven candidate that can keep us on an even keel. He can connect with both sides of the spectrum and keep us right-wingers at bay. He is smart, he knows the game, and is well connected in the international community.
What exactly does any other candidate offer that Nith doesn't?
Didn't TOP GUN start the WAR GAMES before Nith took office?
"Didn't TOP GUN start the WAR GAMES before Nith took office?"
The idea for the war games was conceived in Theus Jackus' term. Top Gun basically handled all of the negotiations leading up to them. The reason they took so long to start is because the USA wanted to wait for their war games with Mexico to end, which ended the day Top Gun left office. Top Gun declared the war on his last day.
The Imperator wishes Nith good luck but he will be casting his vote for franke.
Vote for Nith!
I wish all the other candidates good luck but I will be voting for Nith 🙂
Four more... weeks! Four more weeks (ish)!
Propaganda often presents facts selectively (thus lying by omission) to encourage a particular synthesis, or gives loaded messages in order to produce an emotional rather than rational response to the information presented.
Obviously someone doesn't know the meaning of propaganda.
I have always and will always vote for intellect, knowledge, respect, maturity. Without question that person is Nithraldur.
Considering the latest congressional results it is quite obvious what kind of government the majority want.
the end.
the end.
the end.
in my opinion, at least to a degree, uaithne has described the pictures used above to "inform" the irish public of the pedigrees of nithraldur
Really good job this month Nith, here's hopin for another!
Nith has made this country worth staying in... Why listen to the propoganda and promises from other potential candidates when we have a PROVEN leader already in place. Nith has my vote...
good luck Nith
All this talk of not making assumptions.... If Pip hasnt put up his manifesto then De Valera is not making assumptions. He said "all I've seen in other candidates", so how can he see whats on your manifesto if you havent posted it yet?
Talk about power corrupting people... smear campaigns, the bull opposition parties come up with in any government saying "its our role". What a load of crap. Work together, propose what you'd do better if you feel you'd be a better president.
Since I've played here Nith has been on top of his game from as far as my interactions can see, so I certainly see no need for change.
"Didn't TOP GUN start the WAR GAMES before Nith took office?" Top Gun declared war at the end of his term with a contract full of flaws which hindered our relationship with our closest ally. Nithraldur cleaned up the mess he inherited and has since implemented well organized war games with both Canada and the United States.
And don't forget the good work Nith and Eamon did when complications arose a few days into the war games.
Don't even start with that bullshit Severin
Classy as always Collins... lol that's funny coming from someone who writes ICF announcements 🙂 The bullshit started when you ranted on as if Nithraldur had nothing to do with war games. I was just stating fact.
I agree with Collins. Nithraldur and Eamon handled the situation poorly. You cannot applaud them for that. And maybe if Nith is so great, qwhy didn't he see the flaes himself and put a stop to it?
Point me to where I said Nith had nothing to do with wargames.
Someone asked what part Top Gun had in them and I answered.
@Michael Collins
Please keep profanity out of here. Its not welcome and completely unneeded, it would be advisable to argue your points without the use of it as I doubt it attracts any voters to you or your party.
On Nith,
My opinion is that he has done a good job. Whether he was the sole organiser of the games or not is irrelevant, He has proven himself a good leader by the competent running of the games and the setting up of further games, developing a good working relationship with our closest allies.
Sev,it's not my fault if Nith went charging into the games without fully reviewing the situation first.
The only man that can beat Nith is the genius that has come up with this
http://www.erepublik.com/en/article/hot-women-and-booze-part-iv-816207/1/20" target="_blank">http://www.erepublik.com/en/article/hot-[..]1/20
Its hard to argue with his policies
gg
So some want to take credit for attempting to start the war games. The initial plan was flawed, so go ahead, take credit for that flawed, failed plan.
Nith, along with Eamon, has taken that flawed plan and improved on it so that the games have been highly successful. That credit goes to Nith and Eamon.
And if I remember correctly it was Snake that brought up the idea of training wars back in his term.
Nith, along with Eamon, has taken that flawed plan and improved on it so that the games have been highly successful. That credit goes to Nith and Eamon."
I only started the war,I didn't start a battle.
So it wasn't flawed until Nith created the problem by starting a battle with UK against ATLANTIS.
And he fixed it by doing the opposite of what he did before.
That could also be compared to falling over and getting up again.
@donnacha: collins can call it as he sees it, call a spade a spade, call bullshit bullshit. Also, he doesn't give a crap for votes for him or his party. He transcends the popular ballot idea, he is a permanent fixture and player in ireland regardless of it.
The war games are the exact same, Nith never changed the plan. This is the contract that is still being use😛

The only problem was a miscommunication between the UK and Ireland/USA about which side of the war they wanted to be on.
And James is pretty spot on. I don't give a crap about being liked or what people think of me. I will say and do whatever I feel is right for Ireland, as I have always done, even if it ruffles a few feathers of the uptight crowd.
@ James Campbell
Collins is perfectly able to answer any criticism i give to him, no need for you to
@Collins
Im not in the "uptight" crowd as you may like to think. I just dont believe that discussions need to be carried out this way. I have already asked you and Mannimarco to desist with this tone as it brings down the whole discussion. There are plenty of other words you could have chosen which wouldnt have affected the accuracy or anger of your statement.
"it's not my fault if Nith went charging into the games without fully reviewing the situation first" lol you declared war 🙂 Nith had to stay up till 4am on his first day just to get a grip on the situation (would have been nice if you filled him in just a little) and to organize the first game with the Americans. True Top Gun all you did was declare war with a flawed contract so in my view Nith can take almost all credit for successful war games.
"Also, he doesn't give a crap for votes for him or his party. He transcends the popular ballot idea, he is a permanent fixture and player in ireland regardless of it." That would be more convincing if Collins wasn't voting up articles here and donating money to and writing articles for the ICF. In my opinion he cares just as much as I care (if not more actually) 🙂
And just because we don't go around insulting people for 'lulz' doesn't mean we are uptight 🙂 It is only a game but I am not going to intrude upon anybody else's enjoyment of it simply because I'm bored and have nothing else to do. I do have a life 😉
"Since Nithraldur was elected eIreland's foreign relations have been improved, productivity has increased, people's general wellness has gone up, wages have gone up, prices have gone down, inflation has gone down, war games have been provided frequently and have been well organized and there hasn't been any serious mistakes in the adminstration"
Ambitious statement but Sev gives us no factual basis for these wild assertations. Seems reasonable to claim wellness and productivity are up but that's due to wargames (which are a testament to a number of hard working people including Nith)
On the economic side I have experienced a lowering of wages. Strangely the wage cut coincided with pattons "bug" problem where state company jobs seemed to be unavailable for a number of days. However again without figures Sev is just guessing ..... or maybe hoping the he's right.
@James: I'd love to call a spade a spade about Collins, but I fear he may kick me from his IRC channel e-Ireland.
Go ahead. Right now it looks as if you've got nothing and you're pretending that Collins has done some unspeakable thing to smear him.
