The right way to erepublik

o/ ,

Admit it, you have noticed that the same few people were and are constantly in command of e-cyprus' future. It's not a bad thing necessarily... but in our occasion it is.

The government is supposed to be elected to express and obey the community's feelings and thoughts and not to try to manipulate circumstances.

The absolute majority doesn't want to leave banana alliance. The reasons ? insecurity? habit? friends? The most awesome name of an alliance in erepublik history ? Who knows ? And who cares to tell you the truth.

Those people are implying we caused a division in the community because we stand still in our thoughts and our way of gaming. In fact, they changed, they got greedy and got divided from us. They forgot how to have fun in the way we used to in the past as a whole country. Fun is not a successful airstrike or spending money in this game or even having regions to elect congress. The true fun resides in social interactions and sometimes to the extension of trolling. They changed their way of gaming and forgot why this community used to be so unique. They stopped being unique in an awesome way and copied other countries' seriousness and became just another drop in the ocean. And with them they are desperately trying to change the rest of us that remain faithful to our old habits.

The game is dead, but the community can survive, but not in the way those few people want to transform it into.

Those who remain loyal to true ecyprus' ideals and want to honor our history and our way of doing things around should vote NO in leaving Banana Alliance even if it means deletion from the map. From that the community will bloom once again stronger and more powerful. By that way, we may return to our roots...

Whatever the result is, I will respect it and support it. But that doesn't mean I will not raise my voice and argue when I think things go from bad to worse. Mutation is not evolution.

R.I.P. Finway, you will be missed.
