The Right Choice

Let me start this article by saying that I respect President Jewitt, and, for the record, he "did it." But these are new times and the eUS is in need of a diferent set of skills. Woxan is that man. I have worked with Woxan in congress, when he was in the White House, and in the AAP for months now. He has a clear vision of what The eUS can do and how to do it in the smartest and most efficient way possible. Woxan understands how our domestic policy affects our economy and population, has military know-how, and understands the way our government works like few others in this game.
Domestic Policy
Woxan has a detailed plan for improving citizen education and military ranking. We're never going to catch Hungary unless our population ranks up and fights smarter. We've got the edge in resources and money, but we've got to make use of our population in more efficient ways. Woxan's plan to invest in our citizenry is the kind of long term strategy that will allow us to keep war away from our shores as long as possible.
Our Military
Woxan understands the war module and has just the sort of careful, deliberative temperament to listen to the advice and predictions of our military leaders then make the smart call. He understands the necessity of using military force to keep our economy strong and ourselves and our allies secure, but we wont be seeing any lulz wars, or poorly considered strategies.
Making the Government Work
Presidents have had varying relationships with the Congress over the last year, from outright hostility, to an expectation of complete deference. Woxan has been on both ends of Pennsylvania Avenue and he understands how to work in concert with Congress to make our government function at the highest possible level. Some of our best and brightest are in the congress and Woxan's got the experience and attitude to let him benefit from their input while putting the Congress to work for this country.
This election presents us with a tough choice, and while it's a tough call, when you really look at things you're left with only one choice: Woxan for President!

I disagree. It's easy to hope for the one who hasn't held the job. We all forget it's easier to vote based on plans and overlook results. We fall into this every term. And here we are, again. With all due respect for Woxan, who is better than I, I'll stick with the one who has raised GDP and Population, while taking 2 High Iron Regions and taken the fight to Phoenix in SE Asia. Let's not forget what Jewitt has done. Why would Woxan's plans be better than Jewitt's results? I don't get it. By the way, love you, Woxan, and have mucho respect for you too, Evan.
Number 2, understanding the war module, is a lot bigger than I thought just a month ago. Sure, eRep is buggy, but it seems a lot of the problems were from Jewitt learning it as he went and it cost us.
Is there any way to see the past voting record for individuals in Congress like there is in RL? Its difficult for a new player to determine who to vote for without knowing the history of the candidates as information from other players is subject to bias.
Justin: Most established Senators have a newspaper where they publish their voting habits. Notice I said most established Senators. Don't hold me to that and getting it confused as "Most senators" If I got all my friends and ran for Senate in say Wyoming (Or wherever just some random pawn of a large party is going and not being paid any attention to) I could win, not based on what i want to do for the country.
However, all Senators want votes so I'd recommend asking them on what they voted on. Other wise check the eUS forums for more info 😛
Justin, I'd be happy to tell you my position on any issue you ask, and I've been in the congress long enough that my first term or two should be public now, so you should be able to see some of my earlier debates and votes.
But for now, let's focus on the Presidential election. I'm not going to engage in any negative campaigning, but suffice it to say recent events have created some concern in my mind regarding the Jewitt administration's military coordination.

Educating population.. Jewitt administration have done alot in education, player joinning the game and player retention. Like you can see, he acheived hid goal of 10% pop raise.. thats huge..
About military, whoever is elected as President have no importantce.. The Military brains surrounding the president are the same.. Eugene, Lucius, Gaius.. Those people are planning strategies.. Jewitt faced some dificulties so what? and The game got very buggy for few days from DDos .. Frost would have face the same problem.. Emerick faced bugs many times.. People were yelling F&^& Emerick... But we all know now that it was not his fault.. Shit Happen!
Jewitt is in the cabinet for many months now.. As military adviser, Vice president.. he know how things work.. Know how the war module work.. This argument means nothing.. I know how the war module work.. that dont make me a good candiate for Presidency..
Maybe Woxan would be a great president too.. I respect him for all he have done.. But dont forget what Jewitt have done too.. He took off from Phenix 2 high region, liberated China, india and crippled indonesia and Iran. Those are Fact... not theory..
Frost was a great President, Jewitt IS a Good President.
