So about a year ago, I wanted to start a Simmons-like mailbag for eRepublik but it kind of fizzled out. I’m going to attempt to revive it because I think it’s a good concept and it might have a chance to succeed now. I’m under no illusions, I’m hoping it succeeds but I need your participation for it to do so. Pretty much just message me with any question (or questions if you feel ambitious) and whether you want to be identified or not. I’ll do my best to answer them as well as throw in jokes, insights, and whatever else fits.

You seem old. Why do you keep playing? – Low, Orissa

I wrote this article a while ago and the premise is still the same. I’m not sure if it’s exactly the same. At that time I was still invested in the game that I couldn’t give it up; now, not so much. For example, I don’t generally keep up with all the points of minutiae anymore but the results of my seated bathroom trips contain more knowledge of the game than most. I’m just not going to rub your nose it because that would be disgusting.

Why do you keep answering questions from Low in Orissa? – Low, Orissa

The 6th edition of the new player’s guide is two months old. Um, do you want to do something about that. – Low, Orissa

Yeah, about that… After the admins finalize the training module, there will be several major new additions that need to be accounted for that aren’t yet covered based on the previous edition. Lucky number seven will attempt to cover them but I can’t give a time table.

You seem like the prettiest thing I’ve ever seen. – Low, Orissa

Why thank you. But I think you missed the citizen, Hot and Sexy. There is no doubt that I cannot surpass that. No doubt whatsoever. Can’t touch it. Don’t want to touch it.

Doesn’t Dokomo retreating prove that you were wrong? – Low, Orissa

No, and there’s no need to dredge up the issue more than necessary so not to tick people off. Simply, Dokomo was acting in what he views as the best interests of his country as Emperor. He chose to stand up for his and Japan’s allies in Asia. I fought for that choice. Japan deserved the right to choose and I don’t disagree with what they chose to do. In fact, I’m proud to have fought alongside other freedom fighters in India recently.

What do you think of the new training module? – Low, Orissa

It is what it is. I’m not shocked the admins implemented it or that people resisted it. It’s similar to the reaction trivia received from the beta crowd. The betas generally aren’t here anymore. I wonder if there will be exodus because of the general changes in the game from onset of V1, I kinda doubt it. Plus the admins are introducing means to increase goldflow. They need to regulate how much gold is in the game and incentivize its purchase. The new training module goes towards both goals. My final thought is that it’s ridiculous to claim that the admins killed the game; that sort of childish groupthink is grating. Not surprising, but grating.

Do have any goals? – Low, Orissa

I would one day like to reach media mogul. I’ve done two giveaways to bump my subscriber numbers but the last three hundred or so, I’d like to earn. There’s a couple of other goals but I don’t have the time to type out and you probably don’t have the patience to read.
