The relations between eNL and eBe

As per request, this is the eBelgian view on the relationship with our dear neighbours of the north. For many months now, relations have been a little bit tense resulting just a few days back in a rogue NE proposal out of eNL. It was a bit worrying to see 8 members of congress wished to invade us. Anyhow, on to the core of the subject:



In the beginning there was nothing... to skip the less important parts of history, one time existed what was known as eUnited Netherlands. Why is this fact important, to this date, a lot of those who lived during the times of the united country have very fond memories of it. The third party in the country even has reuniting with eNetherlands on their party program.



A couple of months ago we had our last training war with the dutch and as it always goes. At that time it was brought to our attention that a few congress members in eNetherlands were talking about a take-over of eBelgium. This kind of subject comes up in every country at any given time and it’s exactly for that reason we went ahead with the organisation anyways. This training war lasted for 9 days if my memory serves me well and was abruptly ended due to internal problems in military command in eBelgium at the time.



Some time passes and eFrance gets back on the map. Only a few days pass and they give notice that they would like Wallonia and Southern Netherlands. Early in the negotiations it’s made clear by the French that we don’t have a choice, either we rent our regions or they take it by force. While eBelgium quickly decides to keep its region, eNetherlands sees an oportunity to get something out of Southern Netherlands cut off from their capital. France acts on its words and invades us. A huge effort is made on strategy and in less then 5 days the war is closed with a complete eBelgium on the map. This ofcourse ends the plans for renting southern Netherlands to eFrance. Due to this untimely war, eBelgium is forced to sign several ONE MPPs to protect itself. These 7 MPPs sour the relations with TEDEN countries very fast but serve their work to avoid a new invasion.



eNetherlands joins Garden of EDEN. This had been an ongoing process and was finalized under JoeponStenk’s government. Quickly some figures of eNetherlands’ political life change their rhetorics towards eBelgium. This is reinforced when eBelgium launches an NE against eFrance based on revenge feelings and the need to accomplish the winter missions. Through diplomacy and with the help of their CP, flasckq, this is quickly turned into a training war with eFrance.



We’ve always enjoyed good relations with almost all dutch especially before they entered GOE. Part of the political figures visit us every day in #eBrussels and I know several eBelgians who do the same in #eUNL. eBelgium has no beef with eNetherlands and I surely hope we will never have.
