Join the new world

First i want to apologize for my language and my grammar mistake, as English isn't my main language, plus I was never good at writing even at my mother language. I did not want to write a wall of text, but the current situation requires it.

We have quite a lot of anti - government propaganda lately, coming mostly from Rangeley and I as party president of KU wanted to make some facts straight. This is erepublik and its a web based game and we all know republish runs totally different then real life, any comparison of this game and real life is in fact futile.

In this game, the congress doesn't have any real powers, it can propose donation, impeach and tax changes. All the real power is the presidents hands and congress cannot really stop him. We can see this at Hederas example, where he let Poland through robbed our treasury, stole our org's in less then few hours. And as you know the impeach last for 24 hours, enough time that a president destroys a country.

All the power the congress has, like voting for an alliance, are invented by players and has no real support in the game and so we come to the constitution. The constitution is again very powerful in real life, but really has no real power in the game. Its simple not enforced. In the past when contracts were still enforced in most countries before the new president got access to org's, he had to sign a contract, where it was written he wont steal gold, money and org's. That was the closest thing we got to the constitution in erepublik.

But you will say, eAustria has a constitution. Yes we have one, but we really never lived with it, the only times when our constitution comes in play is when its good for a party, person, president. I am sorry and this are the facts, coming from the guy who started this Austrian constitution idea. It was a nice dream, but really its just a dream.

Before I come to Rangeley's article, I want to say we were always at opposite sites and only came together when eAustria was at danger and even at that times we rarely agreed on a same thing.

Rangeley sees this game as real life, and tries to put real life things into a game, which doesn't support it. Its a game, and neutrality without any real battles for eAustrians at erepublik is boring. The best fun eAustria had... was when France or we got attacked and the real battles started, when you wasted your gold and ATS, you bought better weapons and in the last minutes the adrenalin rushed in and you hoped you will be able to hold the wall , when it started to drop rapidly.

So I finally came to Rangeley's article, once again sorry for the wall of text. Yes Kikericsy has many people from Adeptus Astar in the government, but he also has some people from KU in it. This is democracy and the president chooses the people he trust are a close with as he is responsibly what the his people do with the money and how they govern it. As Rangeley likes real life examples I will even add one, how many republicans are in Obama's cabinet or how many Democrats were in Bush's cabinet?
Its not hard for Rangeley to say the cabinet should have people from different parties, as when he was the president most of the eAustrian parties were controlled by his close friends or followers. So it was an easy pick.

In his Article he states the congress had only 48 hours time to discuss the joining alliance. The congress was this time actually asked. It was never asked if we should lend “Hungary” most of our gold or should we use 100 gold to tank in a battle against a non allied country and it wasn't asked many others situations.

And before someone says I send 200 gold + to Peace-keeping forces without asking the congress, I want to add the times were different at the beginning of new eAustria and the congress had no power at that time, and I did not gave the congress any powers as president. Today I would ask the congress first, but at that time I would do the same again.

I wont even talk about the constitution here as I said almost everything earlier. The constitution is more a guide line and has no real powers. Curently its only used for personal gain when someone needs it, but the rest of the time its just ignored.

All the politics in this game are based on what people “invented” as game itself doesn't support much. I as party president can choose a presidential candidate or change the line up for congress. And that's it. Everything else is done on IRC, but is IRC part of the game or we sue it to improve the game ourselves?

My point is to stop the pointless fighting about what alliance should we joining and start focusing more about fun in this game and whats the game offer us and that's war and economy. The best thing for fun would be actually join EDEN as we would always had free battles 😛 Its time we choose game play for all Austrians and not the chosen few,
