The puzzle of the V2 battlefield [Part 3] Evaluation of Part 1

Dear reader,
I'm one of the happy few that are chosen to test the v2 beta.
Because of this I can put the last pieces of the puzzle together.
In this article I will confirm/reject all the speculations and guesses placed in the previous article's
Unfortunately I can use screen shots now so I don't have to draw nice paint-images any more 🙁
I will first post the thing I've written before after that a reaction.
(If you want you can read the old articles back while reading this 1 )

PART 1


Quote:

Evaluation:
Actually like you can see in the picture there is not such thing as a "mountain passage" hex there are mountains and between that normal (grass) tile. There are bridges (as you can see on the picture) and these are usually the blocking/breaking points.

Tanks/artillery and can't go over rivers or mountains, infantry can indeed go over mountains and I haven't seen terrains yet that could block a helicopter 😛

PART 2

Terrain
Infantry can go on special terrains: Mountains and Forest.
Infantry has a defence bonus in forest

Weapon Bonus:
Tank>Infantry
Infantry>Artillery
Artillery>Helicopters
Helicopters>Tanks

(Reminder of bonus: TIAH Reminder of Weakness: HAIT)

Speculations:
If someone has a Terrain-Bonus and someone has a Weapon-Bonus the fight will be "bonus-neutral" (except for power-ups)
If a weapon has no bonus/weakness against another weapon this fight will be "bonus-neutral" as well.

Guesses:
Infantry can go through water (if there is going to be any water)
Artillery has bigger range
Tanks move fast
Helicopters move fast and can move in a line across the map. (without caring about terain)

Evaluation:
Indeed infantry can go on mountain and forest tiles, about the defence bonuses: * Infantry in forests
* Tanks on plains
* Anti-Air Artillery in cities
* Helicopters on hills
Enemy's attacking you while you're on a matching weapon-tile type will get a 20% hit chance decrease.

Tank>Infantry
Infantry>Artillery
Artillery>Helicopters
Helicopters>Tanks

When you have a matching weapon advantage you will get a 20 hit chance increase.


These statements are just crap:
Infantry can go through water (if there is going to be any water)
Artillery has bigger range
Tanks move fast
Helicopters move fast

PART 3

Quote:
"Facts:
Hospitals can be placed tactical on the battlefield.
Hospitals have an Area of Effect where soldiers will be healed every round.
Hospitals can be taken over by the enemy.

Speculations:
A hospital will have the same optionsystem as a weapon in v2 so the hospital CAN have:
A longer durability
A bigger AoE range
A different amount of health added
(A bigger resistance against enemy takeover's)
The AoE is a Circle.

Guesses:
Hospitals can be taken over by one or a combination of 1 or 2

1 By Taking the building
2 By killing all the enemy's in the AoE"

Evaluation:
Hospitals are indeed very handy if you are defending, unfortunately they are really easily taken by the enemy (they only have to capture the hex were the hospital is on.) As you can see in the picture; the AoE has a "ring" shape.
