The problem with Australia.

It's obvious Australia has seen better days, and right now is just a shell of its former glory.
Who would believe that at one time Australia fought and won several battles against Brazil AND Argentina?
Granted, Australia lost that war, but it was still a fighting nation, a force to at least be considered. Now, however, it is a nation of petty cowards and roleplayers. The military is in tatters. The economy is collapsed. The Australian Dollar isn't worth the digital pixels its printed on.
Why is this so?
Well, the answer should be obvious;
Australia is nothing but a country that is based off the old-boy network, a popularity contest, and run by a group of about 10 people.
Now before I slap a word oh so favoured by the resident DocterDry on these people, one must really look into it. Who has actually put forth effort to fix the country?
What we have seen over the past few months is useless bills and acts that serve to do nothing but make it harder to do anything.
Australia is good for something though.
It does a damn fine job of emulating the real Australian Government.
* Useless
* Cumbersome
* Bickers
* Gets nothing done
* Screws up the economy
* Takes taxes
tl;dr eAustralia is a dead country. If it dosen't get together, throw everything it's done out the window, and rebuild from scratch it is screwed. Your going to be hard pressed to find a better Australian Patriot than me, and when I leave the country in shame, it's a sad day.

Your right, popularity contest/elitism government is destroying this country. The experienced players should teach the new players the ways of government instead of saying they no nothing about it therefore they can't join it.
