This is a special economic issue the normal format will be posted once more news is available regarding the maintenance.

I'm newish to the game and am looking to understand the economy better, so please give constructive criticism about the following observations and suggestions. I will be using a lot of outside economic knowledge and basic cash flow principles.

I have read a lot about the English economy and it seems that everyone is claiming that there is a recession upon us.

There seems to be an underlying basic economic cycle out there. We work gathering raw goods, we manufacture and build with those raw goods, we use those manufactured goods, rinse and repeat.

A portion of those goods produced via the Construction channel are not needed on a rinse and repeat basis as once a person has a house, they don't need another, same with hospitals and defense systems.

So the mainstay of the British Economy is the raw good productions and the manufacturing of guns, gifts, and food. To be more precise the British Economy should be built no the gathering of Grains, as it is the only High resource region.

There is a profit portion in this scenario that would allow for everyone to live well and continue growing their assets (buying Houses, Organizations, Newspapers, Political Parties, etc.). However someone shouldn’t be set on buying assets too early, as buying food and wellness gifts are much better than buying a house. There are plenty of wellness articles out there so I’m not going to get into it.

There are certain things that detract from this cycle and can reduce the prosperity of the cycle.

1) Buying from foreign competitors who take the money and remove it from the eUK cycle and take it back to their own country. We need to make sure that when we buy it is from an eUK company, because that money (even if higher priced) will come back into our pockets and therefore is the cheapest.

2) Spending Gold on items that remove gold from the cycle (i.e. Lana, Advertisements, etc.).

2a) Advertisements are horrible and something that we do all the time, it is much more advantageous to build up a Newspaper and Friend/Shout network.

2b) Lana, she is completely horrible and shouldn't be used except in small cases in which we utilize Mi6 operatives, SAS, or British Royal Marines and we need to send a small portion of individuals to fight in foreign wars.

I have reviewed lots of data regarding using Lana instead of q1 weapons; you can find the most detailed article I was able to find here. The bottom line is that it is much more advantageous to use q1 weapons instead of Lana except in a very small situation.

3) The Wellness Recession hit a lot of people very hard, but there is a way out of it that is good and a way out of it that is bad. It is fairly simple if you are hurting on wellness below 90 you need to make sure that you work at a Q1 company, if you have 90+ but don't have a house you need to work at a Q1 company. Then based on the Q of your house, and your skill level it may be advantageous for you to work at a higher Q company. Example: I have a Q3 house and Q3 food, and I am able to work at a Q3 company and make some money, without the house I would end up spending too much money on higher Q food and Gifts in order to stay at a high wellness rate.
