The price of loyalty

Day 1,206, 16:26 Published in United Kingdom United Kingdom by Danie Fox

There is a new feature to erepublik, which involves something called "loyalty points". This is not loyalty to playing the game, but to paying for the game.

Thanks to our favourite forum moderator Gucio16 for this. Have a nice day!

Levelling up

There is a confusing method of using "Loyalty" points to calculate the RL € needed to get to the top diamond level. With an on-screen calculator and RSI, I have worked out that basically:
Bronze = €50
Silver = X + €50
Gold = X + €550
Platinum = X + €4005
Diamond = X + €8335.33
(the table doesn't include all the prices)

X, the cost of silver, is probably somewhere between €100 and €400.

Keeping your level

This is the one-off "investment" (as they call it) needed to get to certain levels. However, to prove your loyalty to the game, you need to keep paying every 90 days a set amount that increases the higher up you are in the system.

Bronze = no info. Possibly base level for every "investor"
Silver = €200/90 days.......€15.6/week........€2.2 /day
Gold = €1000/90 days......€77.8/week........€11.1/day
Platinum = €1500/90 days......€116.7/week.......€16.7/day
Diamond = checkpoint?/no info

Anyone how this works? I can't find a page about it anywhere.

That's nice, but how much does it all add up to?

A British Diamond player who has been a diamond player for one year (paying platinum maintenance levels) will have spent a minimum of (taking X as 45,000 gold to your character. You get 20% more gold per euro at diamond, 15% at platinum etc. If you are interested in getting involved in this scheme, please send an email to support@erepublik.com .

If anyone wants to know a different RL price of loyalty (any RL currency), leave a comment and PM me and I'll include it beneath.
