The Presidents Brown Pants

Day 442, 13:09 Published in South Africa South Africa by Browski

A 17th Century captain was sailing along with his crew when a pirate ship came over the horizon. The captain says, "Cabin boy, get me my red shirt." So, he gets his red shirt and they victoriously battle the pirates. Several days later, they spot another pirate ship off the port bow. "Cabin boy," says the captain "get me my red shirt." They again battle the pirates and are victorious. Later when things had settled down, the cabin boy asks, "Captain, why do you always want your red shirt just prior to battle?" The captain responds, "Well, in case I am inflicted with a wound, I don't want the crew to see my injury and lose spirit." "I see," says the cabin boy. A few days later, they sight 20 pirate in the distance the captain yells out, "Cabin boy, get me my brown pants."

On the eve of my departure from being president I thought I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone for all their hard work. Countries don’t become great over night and they don’t succeed if only one person does all the work. Thankfully I’ve not yet had to call for my brown pants while I was president. We have made great strides forward this month in many areas while other things have progressed slower than we had hopped. But when all is said and done, I think it’s been a good month for South Africa. I can not take credit for any of this. I wish to publicly acknowledge all the government officials who deserve a pat on the back and our gratitude (in fact if you have a spare gift why not give them one). Thank you to all the ambassadors, agents and professors who have done their part to secure South Africa’s future. I thank all those of you involved in the Liberation room as I do feel we have begun, yes slowly, to free South Africa. Mostly I wish to thank Compmage, Hireshmont Vellos, Ryan Dagari, Balon Swann, Black8Shadow, Erdwurm, Rico Suave, Brendan E Austerion and Taylor Resurrected. These were the Ministers that ensured I didn’t need to call for my brown pants. These men deserve your gratitude and respect for all their dedication and commitment to South Africa. They have worked hard and have consistently shown their passion for this great country. I salute you all.

Now, I would also like to take this opportunity to give my support for the person I feel would best serve South Africa as the next president. If you do not agree with me – that’s ok but don’t let that detract from what I have said above.

I feel Erdwurn will make a great president of this great country. He has proved himself over and over again as he has served South Africa to the best of his ability. He has proved himself to be a man of integrity, loyalty and wisdom. A man that we can depend on in the past and in the future. Erdwurm will take South Africa where it needs to go. He is a man of great vision and the ability to see that vision become a reality. It is for this reason and many more like it that I will be voting for him in the next election. I ask that you do the same for South Africa and our future. On the lighter side – he doesn’t even own a brown pair of pants as he has never ever, nor will he ever, need one.

Thank you once again South Africa. It was a pleasure to serve as your president.
