The November Congress Report #1
Sally Willis
So the new session Congress is off to flying start ... not.
The new Congress is the same as old congress ....
Except we probably will.
Since we assembled Congress has been trying its best to shove its head up its arse in trying to use the hastily drafted and thus totally jerrybuilt piece of legislation which was pushed through during the dying days of the last session. Namely the No-Fly List Act.
Note that wor😛
Act.
In the last session I was shot down for suggesting potential areas where a little new legislation (that is to say a new law or Act of Congress) would improve and streamline Congressional procedure. The argument used to block my efforts was: we don't need any more law. We've streamlined things over the last 4 years and everything is now perfect and nothing more is required.
Imagine how I felt when the No-Fly List Act was put up for debate a couple of days before the end of the session.
So, in spite of spreading around the following links in the hopes of engaging some interest from my fellow politicians, I am inviting all eCanadians with an interest in making our political system better, more transparent, fairer, and more efficient, I am asking people to check out the following links. Read them, and PM me with your opinions, suggestions, and ideas.

Not the same, I wasn't in the last one.
I like to imagine that first line is said in a Borat voice. It makes me happy 🙂
Sally is why I voted for CPF.
Thanks for the drafts and legislation.
Thanks, Wilfie. Your contribution to the Google docs would be appreciated.

Okay, I'll see what feedback I can offer.
What's the story with the National Security Bill? Just wondering who authored it and how far it has gone in Congress so far.
