The next step: MyErepublik

For me, Erepublik is a great game with lots of fun, it's a game of wits, cunning and cooperation. With over 14000 people enjoying it as they should and with the current development I believe this game will become one of the largest on-line browser games ever.
But it lacks in one distinct area, namely, the community.
We all know how the official forum works, no tools for editing, quoting or moderating. This of course spawned several unofficial forums outside Erepublik in almost every language known in-game. This is great but doesn't allow citizens from different nations to connect and freely exchange ideas and opinions as is so important for a large online gaming community.
It's in reality a poor substitute and often doesn't offer information in any other language other than the language of the people behind the forum.
What to do?
The next logical step is obvious. We need a new site which acts as a glue to keep citizens from all over the New World together, a site with the latest and greatest information, articles and tools for use with Erepublik. A site where citizens can ignore the in-game labels like nationality, political party and standing.
Today the doors of MyErepublik opens, today the next generation of Erepublik community begins!

Ska jag var helt ärlig så kommer jag inte bli en del av myerepublik. Detta spel går ut på att styra sitt eget land och jag tror inte att alla inser vilken fördel vi har, vi svenskar som är naturligt tvåspråkiga. Vi ska utnyttja faktumet att vi kan hålla saker för oss själva, det är inte isolering, utan det är en stor fördel. Det vi däremot vill dela med oss kan vi sedan skriva på engelska, men det är vårt eget val. www.erepublik.se fungerar perfekt och vi kan styra det precis hur vi vill. Myerepublik är kanske en rolig sak, men det kommer inte alls ha samma betydelse som vårt egna svenska forum!
www.erpublik.se, det är där allt händer! Ska du bli framgångsrik i detta spel är det där du ska befinna dig!
MyErepublik is for everyone. It\'s a place where you find general information, articles and tools for Erepublik and it has nothing to do with nations or political parties. It\'s non biased.
ZiggyZag: MyErepublik isn\'t intended to replace the National Forums.
It\'s made for the Community, not for any specific countries.
The country forums are a great resource for the players, and will continue to be.
This site will be a News-Hub, a place for Guides and Tools, a place where players can go to get help and advice. A place where the players can talk about pretty much anything.

Some ads are unfortunately required to try to get at least some of the server-costs covered. I\'m paying for it from my own pocket, and i\'m not made of money.

regarding the ads - perhaps we could have a donation fund to make it ad free? I\'d be willing to chip in.
