The new way! A way to heaven?

I speak now for a large part of the German Congress - perhaps the whole Congress - when I say:

We will try to do it better than in the past. We all agree to end the embargo on Sweden and we are open for new negotiations between our countries. There is nothing Sweden has to fear from an Austrian-Germany Union (AGU). We would like to live in peace with our neighbours and will from now on try to focus more on better relations to Poland and Sweden.

Sweden might not believe that the time of occupation has not only created enemies. Some of us enjoyed to live, work and do politics in Sweden although never was easy as German. We still have a strong tie to the Swedes - we know each other, still do business with each other and watch each other.

There is no reason in my eyes to extend the embargo and so I say we the new AGU will do the first step:

We will not renew the embargo!

We will further go on and change our welcome message for new citizen and will send a new delegation to Sweden that will be more cooperative than a Austrian-German delegation ever has been - no matter if Sweden will stop their actions against Austrian-German companies in Sweden.

We did the first step to stabilize central Europe by doing this union and we will go on with our mission... and will walk the bridge to heaven!
