The Ministry of Defence: what it did last term

Day 1,876, 01:27 Published in United Kingdom France by Hell The Great

Firstly, apologies for the delay in posting this article. I originally planned to publish it once I had stood down and my replacements were confirmed, alas due to gorram vote buying, the Media hasn't really been free enough for me to do this so that enough people can see it.

If you aren't aware, the MoD is basically tasked with ensuring that our Military Units have up to date orders, and passing these on both to commanders/captains, and also the individual fighters who make up the UKs damage. This is done through Newspaper Articles, direct messages, and a forum link which last month, directed to battles and give either an explanation or background as to why orders were what they were.

During last month, the Ministry was tasked, and under my leadership actively sought, to bring through a new generation of people who understood what it did, and could do so without guidance (ie on their own two feet). Whilst its frustrating that the role can't really be taught or explained, I felt that last month those who volunteered to help not only got to do some grunt work that they can use to get further positions, but also, got an insight into how I did things and the 'feelings' that an MoD sometimes has to rely on: when its down to an individuals intuition, just what is the best place to set orders?

Anyway, for all of those interested in the documentation that I sent around last month (which has been unedited since it was sent, because it held true to the end of the month), I have published it so that all can see how I approached the role. Despite a few days were orders were late, I would say it is a useful starting point for anyone wanting to get involved in the ministry, even this month and in the near future (unless something drastic changes).

I hope it helps, and thanks to all those involved in MoD, and MUs for the last two months, it was a blast to help the UK again, and I hope if nothing else, I've shown that oldfags aren't just about bawwwing, they can help a new generation of players get involved if they approach things the right way.
