The Middle Road

Day 1,564, 19:52 Published in Israel Israel by Nico Undago

Friends,

With all these debates going around on which is the right amount, either in how many alliances we should secure, or how much should be invested into the Countries Finance Department, the most secure and the best way to go is always down the middle.

We have heard this phrase before many times, take the middle route, everything in moderation and never has this been so true. The Greeks taught us this and they are right for if we moderate everything both sides of any argument become happy. I bear history as my witness that when compromises are made a nations fortunes advance. Those who have served in high political office in our country have learned that being in power is knowing how to push your own agenda, but also knowing how to compromise. We cant be to excessive. Over the last few days there have been a lot of proposals to donate money to the finance department to finance this governments affairs, and I fully support the advancement of our projects, but we have to keep a little money in the country accounts for whenever there is a rainy day. Now in the comments below you might write that its not useful here to keep a little extra money for when times get tough, but in any basic finance class they teach the principle of management that says you have to save a little bit of what you earn. This is the principle of moderation, that is the middle path.

Now when planning future proposals or securing funds for a proposal we must remember that the middle road is the safest path we can take, but also remember that to every rule there is an exemption.

Thanks,
