Big News Day?

Hard tellin'... without notice, game authorities froze publication of players' newspapers. Apparently we can submit our works, but they are not made available to readers.

Rumor has it that there is an "approval process" of some sort in place. What prompted this action and what the criteria are are not known to players, we didn't get a letter from Plato or on screen popup.

How Long Do We Have to Wait?

Well, obviously we won't be setting an egg timer.. at this time over 10 hours have passed and there are 50+ articles in the US media alone awaiting approval.
Maybe we should mark a spot on the sun dial out in the garden? Maybe they don't work at night and we shouldn't expect results till morning.

President Lincoln Assassinated!

Film at Eleven...

Whatever game authorities have in mind.. and I won't go on a rant about Censorship till we really know what this is about... just the act of delaying publication of players' articles impacts our ability to communicate. All countries run a government sponsored Fight Orders newspaper-- that's timely news that cannot be delayed. Candidates present their platforms, timed to be most effective, sometimes it's strategically best to announce on the last day and run a one-article campaign-- that can't be delayed by hours.
We have to at least know what the time frame will be. Humans are very adaptable creatures.. we don't like change but we can work with it. What humans, particularly the internet gamer sub-species, do not work well with is uncertainty.

I'm Not Judgin', I'm Just Sayin'

I'm really just testing the new system, okay.. I published my Army Times and Cavalry Saber papers pretty early today so players can read them-- at some point the ability to Vote and leave Comments stopped working, though, so there's another "wtf is going on?!" thing that could have been handled by simply communicating with us.. but, whatever..

If by submitting this article I get any sort of notice, or any communication from game authorities before this piece is made available for reading, I'll edit in a note about it... assuming that will still be available..
Really, this is about exploration and discovery, since we're left to figure this new change out for ourselves, and I'll do my best to share any information I get with my fellow players.

Custer's Mantra:

What kind of game do you play, what kind of players do you like to align yourself with?
What kind of leaders do you want, what kind of leadership do you expect of them?
What kind of country do you want to "live" in and play for?
