Είναι τα πηγαδάκια στην διαδρομή για το γήπεδο πριν από το ματς και η μακρινή βοή των οπαδών που δυναμώνει όσο πλησιάζεις.../ It’s the huddles on the way to the stadium before the match and the long distanced echo of fans that grows stronger the closer you get...




Είναι ο τρόμος στα μάτια του αντιπάλου όταν βγαίνει στον αγωνιστικό χώρο και αντικρίζει ένα γήπεδο γεμάτο με εκδηλωτικούς φιλάθλους.../ It’s the terror in the eyes of the opponents when they come out on the pitch and face a stadium filled with demonstrative fans...


Είναι τα συνθήματα που δονούν την ατμόσφαιρα.../ It’s the chants that vibe the atmosphere...



Είναι οι προπονητές και οι πρόεδροι της εξέδρας , με τις μοναδικές τους αναλύσεις και αντιδράσεις, κρίσεις και επικρίσεις, που φτάνουν να γίνουν γραφικοι.../ It’s the ‘managers and chairmans’ at the terraces, with their unique analysis and reactions, judgments and criticisms, getting to become quaint...


Είναι η προσμονή του γκολ, το αναπήδημα σε κάθε ευκαιρία.../ It's the goal scoring prayer, the heartbeat in every chance....



Είναι η μουρμούρα μεταξύ των οπαδών ύστερα από κάθε ευκαιρία της αντίπαλης ομάδας.../ Iτ's the mumbling of the fans after each opportunity from the opponents ...

Είναι η ιαχή ‘γκοοοολ!’ που με μιας ακούγεται απ’ όλο το στάδιο και οι αγκαλιές μεταξύ των οπαδών, όταν μπαίνει το λυτρωτικό τέρμα.../ It is the yell 'Gooooooal!' simultaneously heard from all over the stadium and the hugs among the fans when the liberating goal is scored ...

Είναι τα δεκάδες καπνογόνα που ανάβουν σε μια στιγμή ευτυχίας.../ It’s the dozens of fumigants that are lightened in a moment of happiness ...




Είναι το κοντράστ συναισθημάτων: η απογοήτευση στα πρόσωπα των ηττημένων και η ανείπωτη χαρά των νικητών.../ It’s the contrast of emotions: frustration on the faces of the defeated and the unspeakable joy and the untold glory of the winners ...

Είναι η αδημονία για το τελικό σφύριγμα, που όταν φτάνει, ξεσηκώνει τους οπαδούς.../It’s the anticipation for the final whistle, and when it’s heard, excites the fans...

Είναι η ανωτερότητα του ποδοσφαίρου, όταν οι φίλαθλοι χειροκροτούν για την προσπάθειά τους τούς φιλοξενούμενους, και αυτοί με τη σειρά τους ανταποδίδουν.../ It’s the superiority of football, when the fans applaud the efforts of the opponents , and they reciprocate...



Είναι το πλεονέκτημα του γηπέδου έναντι της τηλεόρασης: ναι μεν δεν έχεις τις ανέσεις του σπιτιού, της μετάδοσης και των ριπλέι, αλλά τίποτα από αυτά δεν μπορεί να συγκριθεί με την εμπειρία του γηπέδου.../ It’s the advantage of being there, to television: You don’t have the comforts of home, broadcast and replays, but none of that can be compared to the experience of the stadium...

Είναι όλα αυτές οι εικόνες και τα συναισθήματα που μοιράζεσαι, χωρίς καν να το επιδιώξεις, με τους γύρω σου, και που σου μένουν στην μνήμη χαραγμένα, σαν μια στιγμή ευτυχίας μέσα στην μιζέρια του ‘έξω’ κόσμου…Γιατί εκείνη τη στιγμή, όλα ξεχνιούνται και γίνονται όλοι μια παρέα, μια οικογένεια…Γι’ αυτό το ποδόσφαιρο είναι από κάθε άποψη μοναδικό, ειδικά όταν παρακολουθείς έναν αγώνα από κοντά.../ It's all the images and the feelings you share, without even chasing it, with people around you, moments that stay graven in your memory ,like a moment of joy opposed to the misery of the "outside" world... Because at that moment, everything is forgotten and everyone is becoming one...one company...one family...That's why football is by all aspects unique, especially when watching a match from up close...

Είναι απλά… Η ΜΑΓΕΙΑ ΤΟΥ ΓΗΠΕΔΟΥ.../ It's just ...THE MAGIC OF GOING TO THE STADIUM…
