The Lion's Rebirth: A Time For Unified Strength

Day 949, 15:47 Published in United Kingdom United Kingdom by Lee David Wood

Well, here we go...

First pointer I’d like to make is that I thank everyone for voting for me (however few of you there were who actually ‘did’), and I would like to let you know that I do intend to do my best in my first ever term in the eHouse of Commons.

Now, for pledges, I have none...well none as of yet. Basically because I have been away for the past week on holiday (getting a tan in Rhyl, yes, in Rhyl!), and I haven’t been able to keep up with events in our country, needless to say that on my return I see we have gotten ourselves into a little bit of a mess.

First and foremost, I keep getting notifications that our country’s finances are in a dire state, and that we cannot even support any new citizens. How this has come about, I haven’t the foggiest but I will do my duty in working with my colleagues in the eHouse of Commons to bring about a unified solution.

Secondly, and equally as important as the first point, this blasted war in our country. Now, all I am aware of how this came to be is that ePoland requires a land-bridge to the eUSA – why?!? I haven’t the faintest idea, but as ambassador to the ePolish embassy, I will try to establish the real reasons behind the ePolish attempt on our soil in the north. If all else fails, well, there really is only one option left, and that would be to rely upon our military to reclaim that area.

For my first term, I will not make huge promises; I will not build up your hopes so they may be smashed in the face of adversity (and the ePolish). But this is a time for unity, as I stated in my manifesto for the Northern Ireland parliamentary elections; we need unity the most now. For too long we have stood divided by political lines, for too long we have forgotten the sole reason we have been given a chance to lead this country.

I came into politics to make the difference, and a difference I intend to make, I will exhaust every avenue possible, I will not rest until every one of our regions is back under our flag. We politicians now owe it to the eBritish people to stand firm in our convictions, and do the right thing. We stand at the crossroads, one way leading to us becoming the eUnited Kingdom again, another sees us stay the way we are, and the final road leads to our eventual downfall because we could not see past the blindness our power has given us.

It is within our darkest hour, when all hope is gone, that we shall find it within ourselves to unite this country once again. Let’s show the countries of this e-world that the eUnited Kingdom will not take it lying down, let’s show the rest of the e-world that this lion still has not only its roar, but its massive bite.

For the memory of our ancestors,
for our children of tomorrow,
and for the eUnited Kingdom.
