The Legends of eIndia (Volume-1)

Hi friends,
This column on "The Legends of eIndia" will include all the prominent eIndians. Every volume will carry a story on eLife and RL of two Legends. This volume will include vigi and Ugo.


vigi:

http://www.erepublik.com/en/citizen/profile/1373062>vigi was born on Day 487 of the new world. He is a four time congress member and present party president of Democratic Party of India. In the beginning of his eLife, he tried his hand with business, but after some losses, he left the business and moved to politics, which he found to be simple. He owned many companies throughout his career so far, but right now he has one ‘moving ticket’ company. He keenly followed political development in India from the beginning and his major foray has been as Party President of Democratic Party of India (DPI) for the term Sep-Oct 09.

Presently, along with the help of some dedicated members of DPI, he is bolstering the political scene in India by making DPI as capable opposition and plans to expand it in near future.

He has a newspaper named http://www.erepublik.com/en/newspaper/the-pied-piper-189178/1>The Pied Piper, which generally carries articles on political views and DPI.

When asked that how the eLife affects his RL, he said that eRepublik bites a heck of a chunk from his free time. But he believes that the way we behave in our eLife does reflect on our RL.

In RL, he is doing M.A. in Economics. He is 21 years old and lives in the great country known as India.


Ugo:

http://www.erepublik.com/en/citizen/profile/148621>UgoRaffaele is the top ranked and the most successful eIndian till date. He is also India’s first Field Marshall. His eLife began about year and a half ago in eItaly. He came to know about this game through the Hattrick(another browser game for football). At first, he held the charge as Major of Apulia, his homeland in RL, for three times. Then he left the political scene to join military career completely.

After some months, he became Ambassador of eItaly to eIndia, just before the robbery of the national treasury (For new citizens, here is a brief outline about the robbery (as narrated by Ugo), “A group of eItalians at first gave freedom to eIndia starting some RW in the Pakistan-occupied territories, then at the following congress elections took over almost every seat. In this way, an eItalian player proposed a Donation to the eItalian Bank of all the gold and INR in the country's account and the congress approved it. They stole about 300 or 400 GOLD if I remember well”).

Later, he started loving eIndia and decided to leave eItaly and make eIndia his true homeland forever in this game. In eIndia, he has held a lot of important positions, both in Politics and Military. He is four times congressman, Chief of the Indian Army, member of the Indian Armed Forces Gathering Group and even became President in the last month. A fully satisfying elife!

He also has a newspaper named http://www.erepublik.com/en/newspaper/a-soldier-s-life-160782/2>A soldier’s life in which he writes about military related articles and also used to publish his mandates during his Presidential term.

He also publishes his podcasts to speak directly with other players, with the hope to make it useful for them (Before the elections, someone can use his podcast to speak about their manifesto or for debates with other candidates).

He thanks all eIndians and says that he is indebted to them. He also says that, “People of eIndia are the best in the eWorld, without any doubt.”

Speaking about his RL, he is 19 years old university student. But due to passion for Information Technology, he is also a web designer, since he was 15. He lives in South-East of Italy, in Leece. He likes extreme sports. He practices Softair (a kind of war-game) and motocross. A month ago, he experienced "The fight of the Angel" (in Italian, "il volo dell'Angelo")(http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=92aE4-Hna7Q>YouTube video).

Lastly, he says that he wishes to come to India in next summer and hopes to meet some RL Indians.
