The Last First Address

Thank you, friends, for giving to me an 8th mandate, and likely my final one as a Canadian President. I want you to know that your trust, faith and confidence in me to continue as Prime Minister is something I will not take for granted. Thank you.

A few hours ago Maryland was attacked by Spain. This is a necessary and natural consequence of the natural enemy proposal and the efforts by our bro’s to help France. The war against our former allies in Poland and Spain has not gone well, and everywhere we see members of our alliances like Italy, Croatia, and Romania crushed by the onslaught.

This is a time to keep calm and carry on, but it is also a time to realize that if Romania, Croatia and others cannot stop the attacks against them, we may very well be next.

If last month I asked you to remember a time like June 2009, I am hoping that this month does not turn into a repeat of July. But if it does, and we find ourselves under attack, I am fully prepared willing and ready to use all of my resources and experience in steering the ship to an inevitable victory. We take heart that the countries that are most likely to invade are countries that until recently were friends, and that we have not done anything to cause ill will. It is notable that despite having ample opportunities Spain has refrained from taking territories that would put us in an uncomfortable neighboring position.

Nevertheless, preparations for a North American invasion are coming to place.

I wish that my final term in office was under more profitable circumstances than an enemy excursion into our continent, but thanks to the system put into place last month I will be able to fully commit myself to the rigours of military and foreign affairs without distraction.

I said a few months ago, when the original specter of attack came to our shores that I was eager and willing to fight the good fight, even if it meant our annihilation. The reason for this confidence in the face of Sutlerian adversity is simple.

Canada will endure, our culture, our team, our citizens are stronger than any color of any region on a map. What doesn’t kill us will make us stronger, and that’s an excellent thing for one reason.

Canada can’t be killed.
